Author Bobbie Reid began her writing career as a columnist in the Midwest. She has written for the Toledo Blade, Bay Area News Group including the Oakland Tribune, Contra Costa Newspapers and Hills Newspapers. The 1907 Victorian house she once owned in Woodville, Ohio, inspired her to write Monarch Moon. She lives in Florida with her husband, Steven DeLucchi.
