So, I should be working. Even opened Word and stared at my pages for several loooonnnggg minutes.

Then turned instead to my TBR pile. (That's To Be Read for those who don't know)

I'm reading now. Loving reading something I didn't write. Reading the new Evanovich book and enjoying it. A lot.

Remodeling woes....

Oh, I've been a bad, bad blogger!

My only excuse is crazy deadlines and cleaning out my kitchen getting ready for remodel HELL.

Not going to be pretty, I know. It's already fairly ugly, truthfully. I've spent a lot of time over the last three weeks cleaning out cupboards that should have been sealed shut and never looked in again. Seriously.

There are some scary things in the dark corners of cupboards. I think, that the crapola actually breeds in the night. There's no other explanation.

Supernatural Season Ender......

In the grand scheme of things, I'm sure there are tons more important things to be thinking about!

That said, I admit, I've been doing a lot of thinking about Supernatural. Specifically, the season ender.

Was Chuck the Prophet really God? Is Sam back from hell, still locked with Lucifer? Or did Michael take him over down in the fiery cage?

What happened to Adam? Not that big a question really, since Adam wasn't around long enough for us to really CARE.

But is Castiel really going to be the new 'S...

I should have this mat on the front porch at all times. Of course, that would be a big lie--my house is rarely clean. Sad to say, there just doesn't seem to be enough time to do it.

Of course, there's time to do stuff I LIKE to do. But we've got to have priorities, right?

So last book is off to editor, current book is being worked on, but I take Sundays off.

Researching

I'm doing all the polish work on my first dark paranormal romance. And you know what my favorite part of the whole business is?

Research.

Yep, me, who was never a fan of school or God knows, HOMEWORK, I love the research.

Especially this part. I'm going in and adding bits and pieces of reality to my fictional story and having to make it as absolutely real as possible.
