For Christians Only (Atheists, please don't read)...

Think of two men in a plane. One has no faith in the pilot, and one does. The man without faith opens himself to fear. The less faith he has, the more susceptible he will be to fear if there is severe turbulence. However, the man with faith in the pilot will have no fear, as long as he keeps that faith.
He who lives without faith in God is open to fiery darts of terror that will pierce him to the core. I once saw a man like that as he lay on his deathbed. He was consumed with terror. It was a horrible thing to see, and my heart went out to him. He lived his life with his back turned to God, and consequently, when he needed faith most, he had none.
So when you are sharing your faith, don't hesitate to tap into a powerful evangelistic tool that is often neglected--the sinner's will to live. He doesn't want to die. Don't be afraid to ask him if he is afraid of dying. It can often be a relief to talk about it, because the world avoids the question.
The king of interviewers, Larry King, once said, "Death is the hardest thing to deal with, from an interviewer's standpoint because no one really knows what's going to happen, and I don't care what anybody said, everybody's frightened." He says that, from the perspective of a man who lives without faith in Jesus. He makes the massive assumption that "no one knows what's going to happen," when that's just not true. Christians know what happens at death. We no longer walk in darkness as do the ungodly. Our understanding is no longer darkened, because we are no longer alienated from the life of God. He is frightened, because he has no faith.
Let me ask you a thought-provoking question. What is the most important moment in the life of any human being? Is it the moment of birth? That certainly is an important moment. Is it the moment he or she is married, or the moment they arrived on a new job? Those are big moments, but the most important moment, without a doubt, is the moment you and I die. That's the moment for which we all wait with bated* and it draws closer and closer, like the ticking of an untimely clock, with every beat of our heart.
Such are fearful thoughts . . . if we have no faith. Never let that happen. Have faith in God. He is trustworthy. If you trust Him, He will be there for you at the moment you pass from this problem and pain-filled life into eternity. Until that happens, seek those who live without faith, and plead with them to get right with God. Let your heart go out to them, to a point where you go out to them, regularly.
Every now and then you and I see faith shine in this dark world. Just after the tragic shooting of 19 people in Tucson, Arizona, one elderly man died while using his body to shield his precious wife. At a news conference, his daughter had a shining faith in her eyes as she boldly proclaimed, "What a way to go home!" How true. How wonderfully true. Those who trust in Jesus don't die. They go Home.

The Invalidation of Big Words

I think it's unfair of you to say that I believe that any argument that uses big words must be invalid. The use of large words has a place and can sound impressive, but its important to be cognizant of the fact that the most brilliant of teachers has the ability to keep it simple. He who sounds impressive but leaves his hearers without understanding is thunder without lightning. He leaves his hearers in the dark.
Nowadays, any fool (such as myself) can string big words together to impress and deceive the simple. All he needs is a thesaurus.
Most believers in evolution suffer from the disease of superfluity. They think that they are wise as they expound a nebulous and scientifically baseless theory as if it was truth. They are clouds without rain.
P.s. I don't believe, as you do, that humans are primates. How insulting...to primates. For Evangelism Resources, please visit LivingWaters.com.

The King is Dead..

If the "nothing" that Hawking speaks of is "a vacuum and physical laws and properties," it's not "nothing," is it? I shouldn't have to point that out to someone of your intellect. But in case you still don't get it, again, If it's a "vacuum" with "laws and properties," then it's a vacuum, and it has laws and properties. It's not "nothing." Nothing cannot create anything (let alone everything), because it is nothing and therefore can do nothing.
It is disingenuous to twist words to fit a baseless worldview. Every day you are getting closer to the day when you will pass into eternity. I like you very much and am deeply concerned for your eternal salvation. You write so eloquently about the subject of evolution--when the theory is nothing but a corpse dressed by you as a king. You give it majesty, when it has no life at all. It intellectually stinks. It can't do anything for you but give you what you believe is a license to reject the claim of the Bible--that you are morally accountable to God. And that is the greatest disservice anything in this life can give you.
If you gave the gospel a mustard seed of the incredible faith you give evolution, you would move mountains...beginning with a mountain of sin that you have between you and God. Each of us have a "multitude of sins" that God removes in an instant, upon our genuine repentance and trust in Jesus. Do it today. Please. For Evangelism Resources, please visit LivingWaters.com.

Read it Again Sam*...

I wrote a book saying that Atheists don't think. If they thought, they would know that God exists. I don't say that to be cruel or condescending. I say it because it's true. Denying God's existence is like denying the existence of the sun at noon on a cloudless day. Some things are axiomatic, for those who think.
The above comment shows why atheists are so quick to embrace the theory of evolution. People who don't think don't investigate what they believe. They also believe that the Bible is full of mistakes, because they don't think enough to search for the truth.
The Bible doesn't say that money is the root of all evil. There's nothing wrong with money. It's good to be able to buy food for your family, and to pay your mortgage.
The world misquotes "Money is the root of all evil" and thus blames the money, when the Bible puts the blame where it belongs. On you and me--"the love of money." When we love money, we open the doors to all sorts of evil. People lie, steal, kidnap, hate, covet, and kill because they love money. So which do you love--God or money? The Bible says that it will be one or the other, but it cannot be both. You will know which one you love by what you place your trust in, for the future.

Another Mass Shooting...

We only see the tip of the iceberg of the suffering this idiot caused. Old Westerns portray a hero downing gulps of whisky as a bullet is removed from his shoulder, then he's off to shoot some more bad guys. But in reality, bullets tear though muscle, bone, and vital organs, leaving the victim either dead, or in great pain for long periods of time, never able to function the same again. Incidents like these rip families apart forever.
Still, Fred Phelps, the nut of all nuts, thinks the shooting was good. He thanks God for the shooter, saying that He sent him to kill these people, because America is evil. He called the shooting "A marvellous work in Tucson."
Again, the fact that the shooter was an atheist had nothing to do with his crime. He did it because he had a sinful nature. When a mass murderer takes the lives of other human beings, there's no need to psychoanalyze him and try and find what this man has in common with other psychopaths. He's a normal human being who has let his sinful nature run wild. He is like the Nazis, the rapists, the pedophiles, the thieves and liars. His evil actions simply confirm that God's testimony about man, is true and right.

Welcome to Atheist Church

There are certain Bible verses that are often misquoted by the ungodly. One of them is "Money is the root of all evil," when the Bible says no such thing. The other very poplar misunderstood and wrongly applied Bible verse is "Judge not, and you shall not be judged." That verse is used in an attempt to stop Christians from talking about the sins of others. However, in context, this verse says that Christians are admonished against trying to remove a small speck from his Christian brother's eye, when he has a log in his own eye. He can't see clearly when he judges. Christians who do see clearly (because they don't deliberately give themselves to sin) have a right to make moral judgments about others actions.
If someone lies, steals, murders, or rapes, we not only have the right to warn him, we have a moral obligation to warn him that he has offended God. This is because we are commanded to "warn every man," and to "reprove, rebuke, and exhort and all patience and doctrine."
Scripture says that hypocrites who stand in judgment over others will be judged by the same standard by which they judge. It is by this judgmental spirit that cults are often formed. Leaders lay down their own standards, and remove from their followers the liberty they should have as Christians. They think for them, speak for them, make their choices, and lay down the law of what they can do and what they can't do. They are the blind leading the blind, and tragically those that lead and those that are led will fall into the ditch. For Evangelism Resources, please visit LivingWaters.com.

Groovy Dude...

If you don't believe that He was the Son of God, then you are stuck with the belief that Jesus was a self-deluded liar (or history's greatest deceiver) and the ultimate egotist. Jesus said that He was pre-existent. He lived in Heaven before He was born on earth. Do you believe that? He said that He was Almighty God, the Creator of all things in human form. Do you believe He was?
He said that His voice would raise all of those who had died (multiple billions), and that He would judge them for their sins. Was He speaking the truth? He warned many times that there was a very real place called "Hell," and that it had fire that would never be quenched. He said that unless you are born again, trusting in Him alone, you would end up in Hell because of your many sins. Do you think he was groovy dude when He said that?
He claimed to be the Savior of the world, Lord of the Universe, that the whole Old Testament was written about Him, and that those whose eyes saw Him and those whose ears heard what He said, were "blessed." If he wasn't who He said He was, then billions have been deceived by Him. But not you. You think He was groovy. For Evangelism Resources, please visit LivingWaters.com.

Towing the Party Line...

You will not get into trouble because you didn't "tow the party line." If you lose your political seat because you didn't vote with your party, that's no big deal. You just look for another job. But if you die in your sins, you die as a criminal before God, and that means you will get perfect Justice--damnation in a terrible place called "Hell." You will lose your soul (your life).
Tell me, what is more important to you than your life? Before you answer, you might like to think about how you are at the moment prioritizing your love of sin more than your love of your life. Think about how precious life is.
It's important to understand that God isn't the One who will send you to Hell, in the same way a judge in civil court doesn't send a guilty prisoner to prison. It's his crimes that send him there. The judge merely sees that justice is done, and that's what God will do on Judgment Day.
His jealousy isn't like human jealousy. It's not hateful and selfish. It is a just and right intense desire for His creation to love Him. And this love for us isn't drawn out by anything in us that is desirable. He loves us because He is love itself. That incredible love was demonstrated on the cross of Calvary:
"But God shows and clearly proves His [own] love for us by the fact that while we were still sinners, Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One) died for us" (Romans 5:8--Amplified Bible).
P.s. Evidence of your sinful nature, is that you justify Satan, and impugn God...the One who gave you life. For Evangelism Resources, please visit LivingWaters.com.
