I wrote this story Fanciest of Tails,  WHY?
First, think of the animal's tail, telling of a story, and a tale as a story verbal or written narrative, account, legend, fable, myth, yarn, saga, parable, allegory, analogy, metaphor, strange mix of the spelling and meanings.
Second, I would mix the words for the other, madding.
Third, what a great analogy, metaphor, allegory for a story....

Sylvia Saves the DAY. 

I wrote this story in 1992 after my volunteer position as Regional Advisor for SCBWI in 1989. For 8 years after, I weeded and trimmed plants with my best friend Janet; we handled about 24 gardens in our neighborhood.  We learned about weeds planted by each client. Weed seeds even grew in the dark.

Beyond the sun, wind, moon, snow, and rain is a gardener.
