Released today my new novella THE KEEPER OF CHERNOBYL

Foto Released today, by Omnium Gatherum, my new dark thriller/Sci-Fi novella THE KEEPER OF CHERNOBYL. The book is for sale, printed and digital, at Amazon. Buy your copy
Synopsis: Semipalatinsk Polygon, 1965. The Soviets run the Chagan Test, their first experiment in underground nuclear detonation. It’s a cover. Deep beneath the earth, in a bunker, they are bio-engineering soldiers to adapt to the extreme conditions of a thermonuclear war. But their human subjects get out of control, and the project’s survivors are transferred to a new base hidden at the site of the proposed Chernobyl nuclear plant. Professor Petrov is one such survivor. Marked by the horrors he has witnessed, and obsessed with Boni, a dangerous Muse he has created in the lab, the scientist slides into an abyss of alcoholism and madness. Meanwhile, in the zone outside Chernobyl, strange sightings and horrific murders fuel a twenty-year manhunt, culminating in a surprising and dramatic showdown. “Alessandro Manzetti is a major new voice in horror fiction. Bold, daring and unafraid.”
— Richard Chizmar“

The Keeper of Chernobyl is a perfect balance between plot and science of science fiction.”— Marcello Simoni

The Place of Broken Things reviewed by Anton Cancre at Cemetery Dance

Foto My latest dark poetry collection THE PLACE OF BROKEN THINGS (Crystal Lake Publishing, July 2019), written in collaboration with Linda D. Addison, reviewed by Anton Cancre at Cemetery Dance Online.
Read the Review

Excerpt from the review: (…) These are gorgeous, sensuous and absolutely devastating poems that lay bare the gaps in our own psyches. Every word, every pause and every break is measured and weighed and wielded with grim purpose. Through it all there sits a gentle respect for the pain, completely lacking condescension, and the empty spaces where the scars never quite tightened sang through the lot. (…)

The Place of Broken Things reviewed by Voodoo Lynn at Horror Addicts

Foto My latest poetry collection THE PLACE OF BROKEN THINGS, written in collaboration with Linda Addison (Crystal Lake Publishing, July 2019)  reviewed by Voodoo Lynn.  Read the review at Horror Addicts
Excerpt from the review: (…) The Place of Broken Things is a new book of poetry penned by Linda Addison and Alessandro Manzetti. They take the reader through a fascinating labyrinth of pain, remembrance, and longing. (…) it carries you to places like Angkor Wat, Provence, and imaginary Harlem. With each poem, you are transported to a new broken place where you learn about the suffering of each subject. (…)  The Place of Broken Things is filled with such magnificent imagery and sadness, it is sure to satisfy many. There are over thirty selections to choose from, some written individually, and others are a collaborative effort between the poets- all are worth checking out. If you are in the mood to indulge yourself in darkness and pain, then I suggest reading this book and know that you are not alone. The Buddha said, “all life is suffering.” As it turns out in the end, that is something we all have in common. (…)
