What I have found works is to do it in spurts. 20 minutes here, 30 minutes here, etc. As long as I can finish the piece of the story I'm focused on at the time, I'm able to come back and pick it up later Oh and the other thing is to wait until the kids are asleep. .(less)

The sense of accomplishment and pride I felt in publishing this first book in the series was amazing. I could look at my book online and say "Look, I did that!"(less)

First book published!

So the first book in The Lucky Pen series has now been published on the Amazon kindle store.

Day 1: Crystal

This series has been bouncing around in my head for months and I finally got the first book out there.

The response from my friends and family has been great. I've also gotten some really nice reviews on Amazon and I'm a little humbled.
