Christmas and New year!!

Hey guys, I know I've been silent for a while....a long while.. Preparing for Christmas for three children has kicked my butt the last couple months, as well as fighting being sick for a constant of 2 1/2 months now... yeah it's been that long. It's one of those sicknesses that you get and then get another, and another and you never actually get better... Fingers crossed this is the last round!! Now that the Christmas festivities have ended, I am hoping to slowly jump back into writing and all the fun things that go with it.

During my inactive time I received my first three bad reviews...gasp... Yea, that won't slow me down though because I know that not everyone will like what I write and that is okay, so thank you for taking the time to review weather you liked it or not. While you may not "see" me, I am still checking up on things.

Lastly, my new years goal is to get a news out via email, so if you would like to get updates now and then from me please subcribe below.  #mc_embed_signup{background:#fff; clear:left; font:14px Helvetica,Arial,sans-serif; } /* Add your own MailChimp form style overrides in your site stylesheet or in this style block. That's all for now folks! I hope you all have a wonderful and safe New Years!

Starting over...

It's been almost two weeks since we said goodbye to one of my best friends..Chopper. Since then I have been down with a nasty cold. Yeah... yuck. It's going around and I caught it. Anyway... On Sunday we began a new adventure. An adventure filled with squeak toys and floor cleaner! haha!

Meet Bexley!
Bexley is an 11 1/2 week old Great Dane!
Love her!

A goodbye to my Shadow.

I wasn't ready to say goodbye. I could never be ready. Nothing could have ever prepared me for the void I now feel. My shadow.

I hate that I had to decide it was time, though I know if I hadn't you would not have made it through the night. You were suffering so, my Shadow.

I held your head and you looked up at me with those eyes that pleaded for something, anything, to make your pain go away. I wish I would have known what was wrong before, I wouldn't have left your side as you never left mine.

Chopper and Harlie were my first babies.

A year ago and a half ago I lost my Harlie, (white).. She was almost 9 years old. I didn't think I would hurt so badly. And then this weekend, my other best friend (he was 9 1/2). Chopper (brindle) was my shadow, my constant protector. My heart is broken.

I took his endless, unconditional love for granted. Not on purpose of course, But often I could only see the inconveniences, his inability to get along with certain dogs, his drool, his unexpected unsure attitude towards new people. It's true what they say, once they are gone, those are the things you miss the most. With Chopper around, I never worried that someone would break in, I always felt safe. I often joked that he followed me around the house constantly and at times even messed with him because I knew he would be coming right behind me, there is no one there now. And even though I have my sweet Ella, I still find myself lonely without him, and I know she is struggling too.

This may be Chopper's last picture...But he will always be with me, protecting me from above.

Love finding better ways to buy books....

Where do you buy your books?
I know for me I have always bought from amazon, simply because that's just what I do. No particular reason at all.
Now I love when I find better ways to buy things especially when there are books involved.
I logged into Kobo this morning, and saw that they are now offering a rewards program! How cool is that? What's better than being rewarded for books you were already going to buy?
I just thought I would share this with you all!
Check out this link https://store.kobobooks.com/en-us/kob... more information.
And don't forget Obscured and Divulge are both available on kobo!
Have a great Tuesday!!

Release day!!!

Today is the day!!
Just when Abby and Eli think that their problems with Pete are solved, he disappears and takes Ren with him. Ultimately, their only choice is to venture off to Colorado to find him and rescue Ren. There was only one thing standing in their way; Abby's mom. But surprisingly, she falls for Abby's excuse hook, line, and sinker. Then after numerous dead ends, Abby and Eli are finally on the right track. That is, until Abby's second nightmare comes true. Her fear and anxiety pulls Eli back to her once again, ruining their chances of catching Pete. How would they ever get Ren back now?
Back at home, things are beginning to go back to normal again - or were they? Abby and Eli are even able to go on a proper date. But when someone comes up missing, Eli and Abby's relationship will test its limits. Will it survive?
Through it all Abby is sick of being treated with kid gloves, it's time for a new persona. Abby dons her new outlook on life and never-fear attitude, bringing new friends into her life, but it just might put her in over her head. How will she get out of it this time?
