1959 Pontiac Catalina convertible.

All you need to do is type 59 Pontiac in our search widget and you'll see how strangely obsessed we are with these cars. Alex Emond sent a heads-up on this unit which is up on Hemmings and negotiable.

5-Window Advanced Design Chevrolet

From Michael Moore in the East Bay:  "My neighbor Russ has this Advanced Design five-window…never drives it as far as I know, but an original California survivor..."
.AL caught the Massachusetts version--but a GMC, and not a 5-window--in Fitchburg. We believe there's never been a better truck than this era ofChevrolet/GMC

You Gotta Problem With That, Mack?

Stance! Attitude! It may be a little down on its luck, but the truck has moxie. The Thermodyne Inline-6 was Mack's first diesel, starting in 1953. We're calling this a 1966 Mack B-81. Last Mack we posted was parked in the same slot in Cambridge MA.....hold it, not true!--we caught another Mack only a couple weeks ago in Fitchburg.

1977 GMC C25

You don't see many squarebodies in New England, especially not in winter, and when you do, see 'em they usually have a lot of rust, no license plates and a snowplow buckled on. This was a very clean machine originally from Connecticut that we caught in Princeton, MA.

Electra Milltown

We caught the car in Fitchburg MA where it's for sale. 1977 Buick Electra 225. Looks like a 40,000 mile original. That's investment-grade velour.

I-H Metro Van, Boston

Last one of these we saw was a 1958 Metro in Charlotte NC. Then there was a '55 the artist David Ross caught in Chicago.
