1996 Volvo 960 wagon
They have style, I think. While tuning a Volvo 960 for speed and performance seems counter-intuitive, it can be done, apparently. At least the guys at Torque Cars think so. We caught this wagon in Cambridge, which is kind of a rest home for old Volvos, in the way that southwest Saskatchewan is a safe environment for old trucks.Hey, we just heard another million-mile Volvo story.

2 Cambridge 3-deckahs
Such a common style in urban New England. Mostly built from 1870-1920, for immigrants working in factories and mills. Often with live-in landlords who would collect rent from the other two apartments.

1958 Chevrolet Del Ray, Cambridge
We caught the car in Cambridge, near Fresh Pond. Always liked the '58s; e.g. the 1958 Chevrolet Biscayne, 'Big Pink', we caught in les Appalaches du Québec a while back. And this Del Ray in Colorado Springs. And a 1958 Chevrolet taxi we spotted on a movie shoot in Cambridge. Here's a 1958 Chevrolet Brookwood wagon we came upon in Cimarron, New Mexico. And a '58 Yeoman wagon up in Maine

1970 Cadillac Coupe de Ville convertible
Not exactly a barn find, but. Something needs to happen. That's the theme of this photgraph. Storage is lonely, and cold. Basha Burwell saw the car in Cambridge MA. Reminds me of the dusty 1960 El Camino we posted from a hotel garage in Banff. We posted another beat 1970 Coupe de Ville convertible, from Philadelphia. And this impeccable '65 Cadillac convertible, in Cambridge. Maybe we could all do with some self-storage, every now and then.

Tesla Giga: The Mother of All Factories?
from Fred Lambert's piece in Electrek: "In 2020, Electrek first revealed that Tesla is going to build its next Gigafactory in Austin. Later, it was confirmed that Tesla acquired over 2,000 acres of land around the Colorado River east of the city. Two years later, Tesla has now built a giant building for the main factory at what is now called Gigafactory Texas..
