1987 Chevrolet Silverado

from Reid Cunningham: "I saw this Silverado daily driver in Manchester, NH. The truck was dirt and salt encrusted, but I still enjoyed seeing something with an actual hood ornament."

1977 Ford F-250 with peacock. West Texas. 1977 Chevrolet C-20 Crew Cab.

The Ford is on Don's and Valerie's ranch, Presidio County. The Chevrolet C-20 (below) was in Marfa.
1977 was the first year of crewcuts for GM. I wonder how many with a long bed? This may have been railroad truck. One for sale at barnfinds a while back.

1953 Chevrolet, westbound I-80

From Michael Moore, westbound on I-80. "Through Sacramento, Thursday, but for a ’49 - 52 Chevy those taillights don’t compute. Look like outa a ’50 Ford, right? Some kinda Deluxe Chev, though…and the guy looks pretty stoked."

c. 1990 Jeep Comanche, Virginia

from Matthew Sheehy, in Virginia: "We went skiing twice recently down at Massanutten in the Shenandoah Valley. We lucked out with fresh snow and cold temps. I saw this really nice Jeep truck parked in the same spot by the lodge both times. The truck's owner must be one of the head honchos. This is the perfect truck for a head honcho at a Virginia ski area. I especially like the color and the upholstery."
AL: We posted one of these trucks in New England. And see our post on Quanah Parker of the Comanche nation. And read Pekka Hamamainen's Comanche Empire

1958 Chevrolet Del Ray, Fresh Pond

We caught the car in Cambridge, near Fresh Pond. Always liked the '58s; e.g. the 1958 Chevrolet Biscayne, 'Big Pink', we caught in les Appalaches du Québec a while back. And this Del Ray in Colorado Springs. And a 1958 Chevrolet taxi we spotted on a movie shoot in Cambridge. Here's a 1958 Chevrolet Brookwood wagon we came upon in Cimarron, New Mexico. And a '58 Yeoman wagon up in Maine
