1957 Pontiac Star Chief Safari

We posted a 1957 Canadian Pontiac from Alberta a while back. I'm amazed by the riches a search for "Pontiac" on Autoliterate's widget--over there on the right--turns up. Everything from this 1993 Trans Sport to this 1959 Pontiac Laurentian wagon. The 1957 Star Chief Safari wagon here in on the block at Hemmings.

California F-1

Autoliterate has posted beaucoup F-1's and F-2's of this era, including a red F-2 we caught in Maine and rougher F-2 specimen in Saskatchewan. And there was  an F-1 at Motorland in Arundel, Maine a while back. The truck you see here is going on the block at BaT today.

1970 Cadillac Sedan de Ville

Michael Moore says this is his neighbors' go-to-church car. It's a little tough to look at all that green, and that generous flow of California sunlight, from the perspective of a February day in Cambridge, MA. Though  ice on the River Charles has broken up, in the last 24 hours, which means spring is somewhere, sort of, out there. We've posted a bunch of Cadillacs of various eras. One of the favorites is the 1960 Cadillac convertible caught in Blue Hill Maine a while ago. And this Cadillac under wraps we saw in Fitchburg, Mass. last year.

1979 Ford F150

Like a dictionary illustration for the phrase "pickup truck". In Sundre, Alberta we used to call 'em half-tons, even if they weren't. This unit goes on the block this month at Hemmings.

As a truck-loving Canadian....

..I have to say that events of the last couple of weeks have clearly demonstrated that the United States has not cornered the North American market on Stupid. Not that Canada's truckers (90% of them) are actually dumb enough to not be vaxed.

1963 Chevrolet C10, Los Angeles

Becky Jean Smith caught this truck on yet another blue-sky midwinter day in LA. Dual headlights are rare on 1963s. Bill Burleson caught another beautiful 1963 C10 in New Mexico. This 1963 C30 in Marfa, Texas is one of our favorite trucks. We've posted a 1963 Chevrolet C10 from Northern California; a GMC truck with dual headlights is on the same post.  The colors in Becky's photographs have me missing Southern California.
