I can't say I always dreamed of becoming a writer; I dreamed of becoming a filmmaker. But I've always had a talent for writing and I've always enjoyed it.

Besides, film is only concerned with what you can see and hear. I like to get inside my characters' heads and poke around... and fiction writing allows me to take you, the reader, along for the ride!
