President Obama calls for an end to conversion therapy

Answering the call of an online petition signed by over 120,000 citizens in just three months calling for an end to conversion therapy, a religious practice that believes you can "repair" homosexuality, transgender men and women and other gender or sexuality identifications with aggressive therapy.

Kansas just made obtaining an abortion even harder

Yesterday, April 7th, Kansas governor Sam Brownback signed into law another abortion law that furthers the anti-woman, truly anti-life, position of the state.The new law, called SB95, prohibits the use of "dismemberment abortion" during the second trimester of pregnancy. It is the most common method of abortion during this stage.

Christian terrorist groups exist and we often simply ignore them

So much attention is put on Islamic terrorist groups these days that we often forget Islam is not alone in its extremism.Raw Story posted an article today that looked at six of the top Christian terrorist organizations around the world. Something we must not forget about. While Islam may be the most prominent at the moment, we must not ignore other terrorist groups of any kind.

The Blaze’s Billy Hallowell writes open letter to Americans and gets discrimination all wrong

This week The Blaze's Faith editor Billy Hallowell wrote an open letter to all Americans titled, An Open Letter to Outraged Americans: Your Mob Mentality on Gays and Religious Freedom Must Stop.The problem is this open letter isn't to Americans who are oppressing and victimizing homosexuals in this country, it is accusing the "left" and homosexuals for their mob mentality.

CNN allowed Deepak Chopra to spread his ignorance about atheism and science

CNN has very little credibility to begin with. If they are not busy spending 24 hours a day speculating about the location of a missing airplane or describing the screams of passengers on a crashing airplane, they are usually running low rate documentaries about Finding Jesus or offering TV shows to faux-intellectuals like Reza Aslan.

Mike Huckabee thinks gays are coming after Christians

Mike Huckabee, the former governor of Arkansas, has some interesting views on the gay population in the United States. Aside from feeling homosexuals should not be allowed to adopt (in 2007), and that being gay is as much a sin as lust, he also signed legislation in 2006 to outlaw same-sex marriage.

Wal-Mart asks Arkansas governor to veto religious freedom bill

Support for equality is coming from places you would never expect. Yesterday, NASCAR spoke out against Indiana's religious freedom bill that allows business to refuse service to same-sex couples.Today, in response to a similar, but more strict bill in Arkansas Wal-Mart has asked that Gov. Asa Hutchinson veto the states bill that was passed just yesterday by the states lawmakers.
