Book Four - FRONTIER HIGHLANDER VOW OF LOVE Coming Soon

I am thrilled to announce that FRONTIER HIGHLANDER VOW OF LOVE, the highly-anticipated fourth novel in my Amazon best-selling American Wilderness Series Romances, will be released this month. This book will make you both weep and laugh while you fall in love with the characters. The story begins in Scotland, but quickly shifts to the American colonies. Here's the book description:

Strathnaver, Scotland, Summer 1792. The Highland Clearances abruptly destroy Artis MacKay’s idyllic world. Patrick Steller, the Countess of Sutherland’s estate manager murders Artis’ family and burns her village. Forced into indentured servitude in the colonies, she becomes a Virginia plantation servant. Bear MacKee grew up in the Highlands too, but disease claims his parents on his family’s voyage to the colonies. Adopted by the Wyllies, he becomes a loyal and fiercely protective brother who journeys with them to Kentucky. First, WHISPERING HILLS OF LOVE was just released in both print and eBook formats! This is the third book in series and the poignant story of Kelly and William. Five Quick Ways to Support Your Favorite Author

There are numerous ways you can show your support for your favorite authors and in today’s highly competitive publishing environment, your help means a great deal. Of course, buying their books is the most obvious, but there are other important ways as well. This list may seem like a lot, but it only takes a few seconds or minutes to complete.

1) First, and foremost, rate and write a review of the book for the book’s page on Amazon. Your review doesn't have to be long—a few sentences is sufficient. While you’re there, read some of the reviews for the book and just beneath each review, click on “Yes” if the review was helpful to you.

2) Write a short review for the book’s page on Goodreads as well. It’s a great site for book lovers and it’s free!

3) Follow the author’s Amazon Author Page.Just click on the word “Follow” below the author’s picture. To get to the right page, just put the author's name in Amazon's search box.

4) If the author has a You Tube Channel, first, subscribe to their You Tube channel so you’ll know when they upload new trailers. Second, view their book trailers and give them a thumbs up! For example, you can find my You Tube Channel by simply entering Dorothy Wiley in the You Tube search box.

5) Follow the author on social media and PLEASE spread their posts:
On Facebook, you can like (a thumbs up), but more importantly, SHARE the author’s posts. The SHARE arrow lets you share the author’s posts with others and increases its visibility.

On Twitter, the most important thing you can do is tap the RETWEET button. It looks like two arrows making a box.

Writing a good book is really hard. So, take a couple of minutes and let your favorite authors know you support them. As readers, it's a great way to pay it forward.

Christmas Memories

My fondest Christmas memory this year will be piling the grand-kids and our Boxer in our Gator and taking them up to the front of our ranch to let the kids see our lights from a distance. My husband puts up a huge star at the top of our flagpole with lights trailing down from the top. At night, it looks like a beautiful floating star. And we put colored lights in our Cypress tree and the rest of the house and trees are sprinkled with white lights. I love Christmas lights, trees, decorations, carols, cookies, and, of course, giving and getting presents. I just love Christmas!
