I am pleased to report that THE GREAT NEW ORLEANS KIDNAPPING CASE: RACE, LAW, & JUSTICE IN THE RECONSTRUCTION ERA has won the KEMPER WILLIAMS PRIZE (Awarded by the Louisiana Historical Association and the Historic New Orleans Collection for the best book on Louisiana History in 2014).
