The Second

Picture Fourteen individual lives bordering on insignificant merge to challenge the greatest malice in a millennia. But before they join, each will discover something of themselves and the land they call Armonia.

Odie the Innkeeper is at the center, but never leaves his inn. A dwarf, a gnome wizard and a human near-do-well are a strange trio. Four sexy and fierce fighting female warriors find duty goes farther than expected. Their brief encounters with the Ones will influence Armonia far more than the evil they seek to destroy.

The First

Picture Odie, an Innkeeper and central character to MacPhee’s stories, is a strong man with a heart of gold, a leaning toward pacifism and what seems like a permanent state of bachelorhood, about which he is not happy.  He runs a small inn, on a well-traveled route in the community of Wellsville in the kingdom of Norme, inhabited mostly by humans with rather ordinary lives.  The inn is central to most of the “insignificant” characters in the stories.
