Morning Pages Entry – May 28, 2014

So, I actually tried and played a bit of squash last night, hoping, that maybe it wouldn’t hurt much, but it really did. I should have tried playing with my left hand, is what I should have done. Although, I know that would have been pretty ugly. There would have been no power whatsoever. I really should do it though. I wonder, how long it would take to become a left handed player. That’s really what you should be doing. Find a bunch of very beginner players, and play with your left hand....

I feel like, today is the first day of a whole new beginning for me. I’ve gotten through the editing of my first novel, at least the first good edit pass of it. It’s really more then the first pass I suppose. I went through the bulk of it a few times, as I didn’t really know what I was looking for when I did an edit. Wheh!, that was a busy weekend. Sam and I managed to get the front window out and completely resealed. That was kind of nice, getting that thing done. Here’s to hoping that it worked. I’m not sure I got enough sealant down in the initial pass, and I’m not sure, that the screws were enough to hold it down, given that some of them (2) were stripped. Well here we are at the boat, and thank goodness it hasn’t rained the past 24 hours, and hopefully the next 24 hours, since the front big window on the boat has been removed. Well, here we are, at 52 years and 1 day old. Whatever. It’s a very nice looking weekend, but it seems, like the I’m not getting up to the boat until later. Which I suppose, is ok. Hey, happy birthday to me! 52 and still feeling pretty good. Keep it up old man. So, on to more pressing issues. I was starting to put together a menu plan for our whole 30, and it went ok.
