The Antares Anthology will take off November 26th.
“Antares” will take off on November 26th.
This anthology marks a new direction for Nordland, as it is pure speculative fiction. Since this is our first foray into this field, I would like to take a minute to introduce the Antares team. As Editor in Chief of Nordland Publishing, I had a hand in affairs, but the lion’s share of the work fell to our two new associates, David Grigg and Micha Fire, both of whom came to Nordland from a previous collaborative project.
A little about our new team: David, who, aside from being an editor par excellence, is a talented writer and science fiction magus. Micha is also a superlative writer and an invaluable member of the management team behind Antares.
Antares will be an annual publication, and you can be assured that it will always strive to include only the very best of speculative science fiction.

September 2nd – The legend begins.
“Legacy” is the first installment of an epic series from veteran author, Michelle E. Lowe.
A rollicking adventure, Legacy is set in Victorian England, and is a combination of Steampunk and Fantasy.
With a cast of characters including theives, sadists, vampires, an ancient trickster who manipulates men like puppets, and an evil peer of the realm, how will young Archie Norwhich and his sister survive a plot that threatens not just their own lives, but possibly the lives of thousands, including the queen?

It’s High Tide, for Nordland
Nordland Publishing is proud to announce that it has added Martin Baker and Fran Houston to its rolls. Welcome to the Family, Martin and Fran.
Their book, “High Tide, Low Tide: The Caring Friend’s Guide to Bipolar Disorder,” is a revealing examination of living with bipolar disorder, and how you, as a caring friend, can help and support them with their illness.
This is a departure from Nordland’s usual fare of Poetry, Philosophical Fantasy and Historical Drama. However, we believe that “High Tide, Low Tide” has an important message and we are proud to represent both the authors, and those who live with this debilitating condition.

Welcome to Nordland Publishing
Nat Hall is a Norman-born, Shetland-based poet and visual artist, educated on French and British shores at Aix-en-Provence and Oxford. France is a long way from the Shetland Isles, yet Nat feels very much at home there. The rugged wilds of 60 degrees north have provided her with the inspiration for her first collection of solo poetry, Compass Head, which will be published as part of the Songs of the North series.
