Long time, no blog

I seem to have lost the will to blog, which may be a sign of sanity.  I'm not sure.  I'm assuming my twittering has cut into any such desire to type more than a line of nonsense at a time.

I'm trying to find the impetus to put content here, but honestly, I don't know what people want, if they want anything at all.

Suggestions are welcome.

Nerdvana? Joint signing at a comic book store with friend and Buffy alum Amber Benson.

This is one of my favorite pics from the signing Amber Benson & I did at Midtown Comics this past weekend.  The woman who maintains my unofficial fan site Undead Approved  brought me a knit amigurumi version of Simon Canderous from my urban fantasy series, complete with retractable bat in hand.  I think Amber's face sums up the way I was feeling too.

I do not know how I will top this signing...

Never write during the holidays

Here's what happens when my writerly brain wanders during the holiday season.  Enjoy and share at will!

The Twelve Days of WriteMSS

All Simon wants for Christmas is a Tesla coil

The art department assures me this is not the final cover. Nonetheless, Simon and I wish you the happiest of holidays. Please join us for a snog under the mistletoe... watch out for his sparkly hands, tho! Perhaps they are vampires...?

Heifer International Charity Auction

Many of you are aware of my Highlander-like blood feud with my nemesis, Patrick Rothfuss. Our hate for each other boils like a thousand burning suns, to the point where he had called for my death via fortune cookie.

HOWEVER, in the spirit of the season, I am willing to lay down my arms for a good cause, and what could be better than joining his crusade against poverty and starvation via Heifer International?

To help raise money for this worthy cause, I have offered up my services for the charit...
