Forever Love
I have a new post for Forever Love today.
The scream jerked her back into the moment and a hard wind issued from her.
“Shift,” she screamed. Michaela probably didn’t know how yet, so she focused her air so that it parted, leaving Michaela untouched as it slammed into the demon’s shoulders.
He was pushed backward, and she blew out a breath of icy air that rushed forward and circled Michaela. The demon let out a howl of rage as he let her go and Avery rose in the air. She raced toward him, becoming a funnel of wind that ruffled the trees around them.
Avery plowed into him knocking him to the ground. Coming up to straddle him as he sat up while reaching to lock both hands around her neck, he sneered at her.
“I’ll kill you first this time,” he said and his lips twisted into a cruel smile. “I’ll bathe in your blood and then take your powers. After that, I’ll turn her, make her my whore. You’ll never get her back again.”
Realization slithered through Avery.
He laughed. “You remember me now, Euri? Your girl is even lovelier than she was then and her power is true, not borrowed,” he said.

Forever Love
I have a new post live for Forever Love. One last excerpt for Heat In the Air.
Camille slowly crossed the room to it. Picking it up, she stared at the fine black numbers. Above them was ‘caller unknown’.
“Hello?” she asked carefully. She didn’t have any family here anymore. Her mother was long since dead and she rarely spoke with her cousin.
“Hi Camille,” Trent’s masculine voice filtered through the line.
“Trent, how’d you get my number?” she demanded coldly. Her hands shook a little on the phone.
“It wasn’t too hard,” he said, and she heard the smile and satisfaction in his tone.
“What do you want?” she demanded.
“I want to take you out to dinner,” he told her. “A peace offering.”
“No, thanks,” she said coolly. “Anyway it’s not necessary.” He’d probably have his hands on her half the evening.
“It’s one dinner,” he said insistently. “It’s not like I’m going to rape you or anything.”
“I already have plans, but thanks,” she said tersely and disconnected. Camille pushed out an irritated sigh and her mind flashed back in time for a brief second.
