Taking it off for the Coyote

Taking it off for the Coyote is a follow-up to Grinding for the Coyote. The strip club is still a feature but the ladies move away from the club as dealing with the hyenas become an urgent concern.

Here is a snippet. This is from the second chapter when Sydney is on an information gathering mission and Cambrie is well, she's at the club to have some fun.

“You made me miss my shot,” Sydney grumbled and gripped the cue to keep from putting her hands on the little dancer’s compact body.

She often watched her at the club and craved her. However, she’d refused to ask her for a private dance. After all, emotional interest could become a distraction she could ill-afford. The girls counted on her to be fast, and focused in case a patron got out of line.

“I didn’t know you were into that kind of thing,” Cambrie murmured in a teasing tone and cast a glance in the direction the wolf had gone.

“What kind of thing is that?” Sydney reached for her own long neck bottle to take a pull of the cold brew.

Cambrie’s lips twitched and she moved to take up the abandoned cue. “Men.”

Sydney held Cambrie’s gaze. The other woman acted like she could read her mind and considered her a foregone conclusion.

She was, and Sydney knew she was fighting a losing battle. They were going to end up in bed or against a wall or something. It was only a matter of time and place.

An Assassin's Kiss

One week together and Ace was branded on her soul, but Ace didn’t stick around long enough for Jasmia to tell her that. Eight months later a playdate at a sex club brings Jasmia face-to-face with the woman who stole her heart but Ace isn’t the lover that rocked her world, she’s an assassin being hunted by Jasmia’s brother. So Jas has to make a choice. Who will she be betray?

Excerpt:

Ace fell onto the bed next to her, her expression thoughtful. “Your brother is the agent trying to find proof I killed the State’s Attorney.”

Jasmia went still. She had known this would come up. This being Ace’s life, her job. She hadn’t really thought of how she’d handle it, but trust was integral to every relationship.
So when her brother came at her, what would she do?

How would she react if he showed her hard proof that Ace had killed that man and his friend?

“Did you?” she asked. This was a fork in their road and she had to make a decision now or it could destroy more than her own life later.

Ace’s brows flicked up as she studied her. She climbed from the bed a moment later. “I have some work to do in my office. Don’t wait up.”

“Maybe because you’re still a threat to her and to us,” she said. “You can’t have divided loyalties from here on out. It’s us or them.”

Cattail’s words came back to haunt her again and this time they hit her hard in the solar plexus. She had to choose. Her brother was a cop, her lover was a killer. Her heart beat faster because of Ace, she hungered for her, for life.

Her brother’s truth would get him his prey, maybe, but it would leave her without her heart.

Right or wrong? Which would she choose?

new book

I have a new book coming out soon. It's a contemporary romance. Here's a tidbit.

When two strong women face off, one beta female finds herself in the line of fire…

Mad About Her is a contemporary romance about reporter Chloe Driver who thinks her girlfriend cheated on her so she dumps her only to learn three weeks later it wasn’t true.
She wants her girlfriend Darice back, but she finds herself facing the wrath of a woman who is determined to have Darice or ruin her career and her relationship.

“I always win,” Marie told her coldly. “Just wait. I’m not done with your business or you yet. But if you come crawling over right now, and beg my forgiveness I’ll consider letting the rest of the plan drop.”

But Darice isn’t afraid to play hardball.

“Get out or I’ll throw you out. Better yet I’ll just kill you.” She heard the hardness in her own tone, felt the nothingness inside of her that had allowed her to kill without feeling a thing. She had to grip her pants leg to keep from jerking Marie back as the other woman quickly exited.

No, there’s no murdering in the book or bloodshed. However, the alpha females in this story play hard because revenge is a dish best served cold.
