Secrets and Lies
This week I'm taking a look at three new women for Secrets and Lies week. A couple of my favorite women are in this bunch.
What? I don't like them all? Hehe. All parents have a favorite child whether they'll admit it or not.
This weeks’ meme is Secrets and Lies. The three women I’ve chosen for the spotlights are women with secrets who’ve had to go on the run and or tell lies to survive. Going on the run meant changing their names and some of the fundamental things about them. Erasing their pasts took both strength and courage, but the truth never died in their mins or their hearts which could have become a liability or an asset. Perhaps a little of both.
However, having your secrets stalk you can become tiring as will be the case for two of our ladies. When that happens there is only one thing to do. Fight or die.
Adalyn is a woman who left a promising career in the business world to strip to support herself. Why? She was witness to a murder committed by a shifter.
Next up is Ruby. Another woman with secrets she’s had to hide. Another woman on the run for her life. Ruby ends up in bat country and finds herself victim again thanks to the hazards of being tired and on the run.
The last lady up is Sabrina. She’s got more than one deadly secret under her belt, but she’s settled into what has been a nice quiet life until her past comes back to haunt her.
Each of these women were chosen because they embody the theme in their own ways. Their secrets come home to roost forcing each of them to make a stand.

Women who Kick A**
Tomorrow I'll continue to spotlight characters from my books. Women who kick a** are up next.
These are women who fight for their loved lives as well as the protection of innocents.
This is the start of women who kick ass week. I’ve chosen three of my heroines once again. Each of these ladies were chosen because they’re aggressive as well as dangerous. Being an enemy isn’t good especially when innocents are involved.
Cassidy is a succubus—hellhound with a dark and seductive nature. She likes BDSM as well as catching bad guys.
Aria is a storm aurai, a wind nymph with a dangerous proclivity for lightning. She’s also looking for a woman to spend some quality time with though she’s careful not to end up with a witch. Funny how she does just that.
And last but certainly not least is Cyanna. Cyanna is an intersex female, yes you heard that right. Intersex, meaning she was born with a penis though she looks like a woman, is a woman. I think some call it
hermaphroditism. She’s also a cynogryphon—half wolf and half eagle. She’s all in favor or protecting the innocent too especially one who happens to belong to her.
