Right now, I'm working on a short book. Well, it's a Halloween book. The Wish Demon. I'm rewriting it with the hopes of getting it done for Halloween this year. If I don't make it, I'll publish it next year. Yes, the book will be longer, and some areas more fleshed out. As soon as I get the rights back, I'll post an excerpt or two.

Excerpt--The Madam Doubles Down
Tatianagathered her energy and pushed against the energetic construct. The lockrefused to budge. She pushed harder and the lock clicked, but something shedidn’t expect happened.
She pitched forward and the door closed on her leg. Energystabbed into her, the laser sharp edge of it burning her skin.
The snarl in her mind was still new, but it was the energyembedded in her genetics that made her a shifter who couldn’t shift.
Tatiana was jerked backward and forced toward Mango. Theother woman came toward her and backhanded her.
“I wasn’t finished,” she said coldly. “You’ll continue tomeet with me and learn from me until a decision has been made.”
Tatiana heard the growl of Galli from behind her.
“Let her go,” Galli ordered. “Now.”
“Galli, don’t,” Tatiana said, hearing the click of a gun.
“This is your first lesson that you can’t stand againstRaven, Tatiana.” Mango threw out her hand just as the heat of a bullet whizzedpast Tatiana.
The bullet stopped and so did her heart. Then, it sailedbackward, and she heard the hard gasp.
