New Serial Release: Dead Men 2
I’ve got nothing to add to the title of the post. There’s a new release, and it is Dead Men 2.Having a different kind of tale set in the same world as Isaac’s Story: London is pretty cool. I get to play with all the same toys if I want (tanks, Realmware and FeelyGear, PDAs and robots, etc.) but in a whole different world and almost a different genre.
There’s an urgency to the serial format that novels don’t have. In a novel you can spend time gazing longingly at your navel, ass...

New Serial Release: Dead Men 1
This last month kicked my ass.I had every intention of finishing up book two of Isaac's Story: London before moving on to start this serial. But various real world things conspired to steal my attention, meaning I didn't get the novel finished in a satisfactory amount of time.
But I still had to write. I needed to get the voices out of my head before they started feeding on my brain, munching on the grey matter to satisfy their mad hunger. And I've had this urge to give writing a...

New Novella Release: When The Gods Wish To Punish
It's new release time. When The Gods To Punish is the sweet story of Sandra, a teenager who loves her boyfriend Dean so much that she wishes her parents would leave them alone, and they can be together forever. Her wish is granted. She, and the residents who are at home in the middle of a workday, are stuck. They can't leave. They can't even think about leaving.
Dean, the other half of the sweet romance, is a heroin addict and kind of a douche. What follows is mayhem, torture, pet eating, a...

New Book Release: Clearly I Remember
So, here we are. The first book is released into the world. Huh, that was both easier and more difficult than I imagined.
That's a crappy thing to say, wishy-washy if you will. Accurate though.
The hardest part is undoubtedly the writing of the thing. I keep pretty detailed logs of my writing time so I know exactly how many hours it took to write. I don't keep any logs of my editing time, but I reckon it took about the same amount of time. Going over it, having it read and critiqued, fixing an...

It Begins (Mwahahahaha)
This post is probably going to serve as a bit of history for me. For now anyway. I'm sure I'll end up tinkering with it, tweaking it, messing it up then fixing it. Then replacing it. Because that's what wannabe writers do. We tinker, but we never commit.
I spent ten years tinkering. I always wanted to be a writer (I know, big surprise, totally didn't see that coming, and on a blog too), and by God I am one. I wrote the fantasy novel I always wanted to shortly after moving to the UK. I only sta...
