Slate cover reveal – coming Friday!
Are you ready to see the super hot cover for Slate? It will be posted here on Friday, so be sure you sign-up for blog updates! Melissa Gill @ MG Book Covers and Designs has been hard at work tweaking and making it perfect for all of us.
Here’s a short snippet from the book, I hope you all love Slate as much as I do!
“Headed out, thanks,” Andy tossed over his shoulder as he rounded the corner to see Bingo still standing in front of his bike.
Sharp laughter came from behind him, and he turned to see Mason had followed him. “Bingo, what the fuck are you doing, brother? Your girl is going to see you cheating on her, and she’ll take her revenge…you know she will.” He laughed again.
Bingo looked up at Andy. “She’s beautiful, man. I’d give a fuckuva lot for one just like her; cherry red, virgin white, fringe on the seat, chrome so bright—that poetry nearly fucking writes itself.”
Mason slung an arm around Andy’s shoulders. “Come back inside and have a beer; I’d like to offer you a job.” He turned them around and started walking back to the door of the bar. “Bingo will be out here for another hour, but he won’t fuck with your ride. He’ll simply lust from a distance.”

Pinterest – Character Development
So…I may have created a Pinterest account. In fact, I kinda did – and started out with things that pertain to books. Then I decided it would be a good way to bookmark some things I didn’t want to lose track of (I know, that IS what Pinterest is all about, bear with me) for autism, hiking, etc., personal interests.
Then – I decided it could be fun to let you see the images that I used as inspiration for each of the main characters so far. The images I looked at (and drooled over) when doing my character development. So yeah, here’s a link to that board – enjoy!

Coming soon: Slate
It won’t be long now! Slate will be released later this month, and the HOT cover reveal is just around the corner. Melissa Gill from MGBookcovers and Designs, who worked her magic on Mica‘s cover, is doing the cover for this story as well, which pretty much guarantees the hawtness level!
If you enjoyed meeting Slate in Mica’s story, just wait until you get to know him better. He’s funny, caring, loyal, and a total badass – just the way a hot, alpha male should be! You’ll find out about the years he spent growing up in Wyoming, and how he made his way across country to Chicago. I loved how easily his story flowed from my fingers, and he’s become nearly as central a character to the series as Mason!
For those who have asked – YES, Mason makes more than an appearance in Slate’s story, as they become friends…and brothers. We come to know so much more about Mason in this story, and I don’t believe you’ll be disappointed!
Kayla The Bibliophile, from Hot Tree Editing, is working with me again, and she sent me a picture one day of goosebumps she’d gotten from the story while editing! Made my day!
So get ready – the cover will be shown here first! Make sure you sign-up to receive updates and information on the book series. I’m deep into Bear’s story now, and his journey is difficult, but worthy. Thanks to Rob Kula, who I met in Georgia on a hike earlier this year for the inspiration, I hope your AT attempt is still going well.
Slate is up on Goodreads, have you added it to your “To Read” list yet?

Back to Bear, he’s beating at my brain to get on paper so he can share himself with all of you.
Thanks for…well, everything!

Mica, live!
Mica is now live on Amazon! This has been such a positive experience and has moved so fast. It was just about 6 months ago that I had the characters start pounding in my brain, and now the book is published. I can’t thank my team enough for their support, my daughter Stephanie, bestie Hollie, and good friend Brenda – you guys put up with a lot of abuse from me and I appreciate it. Kayla The Bibliophile is a super-phenom editor who helped the characters become what I had dreamed them being. Her insightful comments and recommendations were critical, and really, who doesn’t want to get a message from their editor of “I need you to write a sex scene!” Melissa Gill of MGBookcovers was patient and kind to a first-time author who wanted that cover to be perfect – and I believe she achieved my desire!

Cover artist
Mega-geeked, Melissa from www.mgbookcoversanddesigns.com is going to do the cover for Mica! Her covers are so hot, I was thrilled when she had room in her schedule to work with me. Things are really coming together for the mid-June release date on Amazon, and I can share with you now that Slate will only be a couple weeks behind Mica on the for-sale list.

Beta readers needed
Open call for beta readers – if you like steamy books with alpha males, peril, humor and an MC attitude, you might want to get in on this. If you don’t know what an MC is, you probably want to pass.
First in a series of five books, these are not for the easily offended. Contact us with your email address to be put on the list of possible betas, and we’ll be sending ARCs out in late May.

Gearing up for Mica’s release
So excited! Hot Tree Editing will be working with me, and I was able to request Kayla the Bibliophile as my editor of choice (squeee)! She’s awesomeness and I’m a little geeked.
Once that’s behind me, Mica will be available on Amazon as well as Barnes & Noble for download purchase.
