Mary Frame writes romantic comedies with quirky characters, steamy moments, and banter that will make you blush and snort-laugh at the same time. She’s a full time mom with a full time job and has no idea how she manages to write novels, but it probably helps that she's a dedicated introvert. She doesn't enjoy writing about herself in third person, but she does enjoy reading, writing, dancing, and damaging the ear drums of her co-workers when she randomly decides to sing to them.

She LOVES hearing from readers and will not only respond but likely begin stalking them while tossing out hearts and flowers and rainbows! If that doesn't creep you out, e-mail her at: maryframeauthor@gmail.com

And this is a very good question. I have too many ideas and not enough time. I'll try not to blather on too much here, but um...well, nope, here comes the blather! I had the very intelligent and rational thought of continuing the Imperfect series with a novella for Sam (Lucy's brother), and then finishing with a full length novel detailing what happens to Liz the slut. I started outlining these ideas, but was not quite satisfied with what my brain was spitting out.

Then...I was blindsided with a COMPLETELY different and unrelated story idea. I love reading new adult novels, but I REALLY love writing new adult novels that bend the genre a bit more than what's prevalent right now.

Long story short (too late) what came to me, and what I'm working on at the moment is an idea for a New Adult ghost story (still with the romantic and comedic elements, because...that's just me). The idea isn't fully formed at the moment, so I can't give away much more than that. We'll see if I can get something going that doesn't completely stink! I will keep my blog updated once I get in the groove and have a viable plot growing! :) (less)

Another Fox Bites the Dust – Chapter One Preview

It’s here!!! Out now, download Another Fox Bites the Dust – book three in the Fox Family series.

I loved writing Mindy and Luke’s story, and I hope everyone who reads it enjoys it just as much!

When I first set out to write this series, I started with the idea that each character would represent one of the stages of grief–and I planned for each of their stories with those feelings in mind.

Mindy is

“Nobody tells this to people who are beginners, I wish someone told me. All of us who do creative work, we get into it because we have good taste. But there is this gap. For the first couple years you make stuff, it’s just not that good. It’s trying to be good, it has potential, but it’s not. But your taste, the thing that got you into the game, is still killer. And your taste is why your work disappoints you. A lot of people never get past this phase, they quit. Most people I know who do interesting, creative work went through years of this. We know our work doesn’t have this special thing that we want it to have. We all go through this. And if you are just starting out or you are still in this phase, you gotta know its normal and the most important thing you can do is do a lot of work. Put yourself on a deadline so that every week you will finish one story. It is only by going through a volume of work that you will close that gap, and your work will be as good as your ambitions. And I took longer to figure out how to do this than anyone I’ve ever met. It’s gonna take awhile. It’s normal to take awhile. You’ve just gotta fight your way through.”
