THANK YOU Mrs. K!!!

I would just like to say THANK YOU!!! and give a shout-out to Mrs. K. Sweetlove, I thank you so very much for your kind and inspirational words. Although I'm a very strong and positive person, I can always use that extra something to help pick me up during one of those difficult days.

This is what makes this all well worth it. Receiving messages, texts, notes, letters, a few phone calls, and emails like yours. And having people say that they enjoyed one of my books. Or that, although fiction... The story was their life, and that it made a difference in their lives. (ie: "Her Silent Screams: A Father's Betrayal")

Once again, that you very much. Your words were very much appreciated.

"HER OBSESSION" Sequels 2 & 3

Taking a moment to breath. Just finished writing "Her Obsession 2", the sequel to "Her Obsession 1: Tina's Wrath" a few days ago, and now pulling a all nighter writing "Her Obsession 3". Both books are urban thrillers, and both will be released Valentine's Days of 2015.

I put a lot into these two sequels, and think that you will find both books interesting. I also think that you will find both books to be more daring, more thrilling, and more exciting. The characters in both books have a little bit of a twist to them. And Tina Lewis is more devious, cunning, and daring than ever.

WORTH LESS THAN A BROKEN TOILET ON PARK AVENUE

You know... It just kills me that for decades all of these politicians and lawmakers have been saying, and admitting that our justice system is broken. And that it isn't fear to everyone. So when the hell is someone going to do something about it, and fix it? It seems that they will fix a reported broken toilet on Park Avenue in less than no time, compared to our judicial system. So exactly what is the message being sent to us? That our rights are worth less than a broken toilet on Park Avenue? That fixing a broken toilet on Park Avenue takes president over fixing our broken judicial system?

It took the Eric Garner cases to spark it, but I am just so glad to see that the nation, and the world are just tired of the injustice being perpetrated by our justice system on the very people that its suppose to protect, and judge fairly and equally. I was especially pleased to see that it was people of many different races, colors, ethnicity, nationalities, cultures, and religions. We have black, white, Asian, Latino, Jewish, Indian, and so many others all fighting, and protesting for a common cause. Because injustice can affect us in many different ways.

Yes, the biggest victims of our injust and broken judicial system are minorities. In particular people of color. WE have all seen... If your skin color is of a particular shade, the judicial system can, and often is very unfair to you. Way too often people of color will get a lengthy sentence for something that's petty, compared to our counterpart, who often might just get a fine, or a slap on the wrist.

But the injustice can run along economic lines as well. Sort of like the haves, and the have nots. If you're poor, and do not have the means, the judicial system can be unfair to you, regardless of what race or color you are. Because when you're poor, there's a assumption made about you. A assumption that often is misguided and just wrong.

And then, there's the injustice that goes along the lines of your age group. The judicial system just seems to assume that all young people are bad, regardless of their color or race. That is... Unless you come from a wealthy family, and are tagged with the label "All-American". But if you're not, the system just seems to see our young people automatically as thugs, gangsters, criminals, and just no good.

The people are tired of it. The nation is tired of it. And judging from the protests not only across American, but also across the world... The world is tired of it. We're tired of the so-called broken judicial system. We're tired of a judicial system that doesn't treat everyone fairly and equally. The protests is the world speaking out and voicing their displeasure. The protests is the world calling for change. And regardless of race, color, ethnicity, nationality, culture, or religion. The voices are speaking as one.

And for all of those who are in denial about whats going on in America and in the world, and about the injustice and the inequality in America and in the world... I suggest you open your eyes, and hear the voices. Hear the many voices. Because people in America and people across the world are calling for change. And they're calling for it now.

BODY CAMERAS???

The proposed ideal of police officers wearing body cameras is almost laughable. I can't count the many times that we all have seen a officer caught on camera behaving in the wrong manner, or violating someone's rights, and still was not held accountable for his or her actions. Or they try to tell us that we're not really seeing what we think that we're seeing, when we clearly are. I mean, it sounds good... But it has been shown over and over and over, and in far too many cases that a camera was there, and it still didn't make a difference, when it should have.

Prime example, the Eric Garner case in New York. How can anyone in their right mind look at that video and say that it wasn't excessive force used by the police for the situation? How can anyone look at that video objectively and say that it wasn't a choke hold used by the police officer? You can try to put as many on it as you want, call it any kind of tactic or technique you want. That was a choke hold. Anything that has to do with the neck, the throat, or the windpipe is just asking for trouble.

But yet still, although it was caught on video, the grand jury still didn't feel that it was enough to at least send it to a trial. A man is dead over what seemed to be something very petty, and its all caught on video for the world to see. But that still wasn't enough. That gives us no reason to expect that a body camera on police officers will make a damn bit of difference. Because if they are guilty of doing something wrong... They will just find a way to cover it up, or justify it.

Create Your Own Uniqueness!!!

Just putting the finishing touches on "Her Obsession 2" and after Thanksgiving will be working on "Her Obsession 3". One of my friends was telling me the other day that she just doesn't know how I do it. Five full length books released from April 2014 to October 2014, and now the plan is to release 3 other books Valentine's Day of 2015. She said most other writers release maybe one or two a year, and one book at a time. My answer to her was, that's just it... I'm not trying to be like most writers. I'm being myself. I love to write, and will write as much as I feel like writing. And as far as releasing more than one book at a time, that's just me. That's just how I choose to do it at a particular time. I mean, this time I could choose to release 3 books at once, and the next time it could be one. I'm not trying to follow anyone's tradition. I'm doing it however I choose to do it.

Its like I tell others who have asked my advice about writing. Do it as you see it and envision it thru your eyes. Don't try to follow someone else or a trend. I have my own unique way of thinking and writing when I'm developing the characters and a story. I don't think that you have to follow what is so-called, "trending". I think that you should create your own trend. Because I think that a good writer should be able to get readers to read whatever he or she writes no matter what others are writing. So to my fellow authors, never forget your creative uniqueness. Don't get caught up in all of this so-called "trending" thing. Because you don't necessarily want to be in the same class as everyone else. Your ultimate goal should be to create a class of your own.
