BACK TO WORK!!!
After taking kind of a break... But not really, its time to go back to work. All I can do is just sit here and shake my head. I just don't think that its in a writer's nature to take a real, true vacation, or just a little time off for ourselves. We're always thinking about our next story, or developing our next set of characters for it. And of course, there's always the fear that if we don't write we might miss something.
A associate of mine was telling me the other day... "Why don't you just write it down." Well... That just doesn't work for me. I'm one of those writers that when I get in that zone, I just have to roll with it. Even if it keeps me up for a day or two. I have to just suck it up, and go with it. Sometimes I have to have someone sit on me to get me away from the computer for a moment of rest.
And talk about worse nightmare. If I wasn't able to write, for whatever reason... Hum... I don't even want to think about that scenario. :( But, I'm ready to get my butt back to work. :)

"Jasmine"s Fight" Author's Review
Jasmine's Fight by Michael LinenMy rating: 5 of 5 stars
In this urban love story, Michael Jacobs meets Jasmine Summers, a beautiful, deep soul, accomplished and acclaimed dancer. While most communicate with each other verbally, Michael and Jasmine develop a unique way of communicating with each other thru dancing, and thru the movements and motions of their bodies. Michael falls in love with Jasmine, and begins to think about a long range future with her. But he begins to sense that something is wrong. And after a very scary episode one evening, Jasmine has no choice but to reveal the secret that she's been hiding to Michael.
I definitely think that readers will find the concept of this book compelling as well as very interesting. Along with my first book "Her Silent Screams: A Father's Betrayal", I take a lot of pride, and feel good about writing it. Partly because I can relate to some aspects of it. I think its well worth the read!!! :)

No Rest For The Weary!!!
Wow!!! After finally finishing my lastest release "Jasmine's Fight", which my the 5th book in 4 months, and my 8th book in 12 months, I can now seriously let out a exhale. But now comes part 2 of my journey, which is promoting it. Whew!!! I'm exhausted!!! :p But as they say... I have to strap it up and get out there. There's no half stepping in this journey of mine. Either I have to do it whole, or don't do it at all. So there can't be any rest for the weary. At least not right now. Right now I have to get out there and on the grind, and complete my vision.
It was deep writing "Jasmine's Fight" because I can relate to some aspects of the character. It was kind of a give and take thing. Only... The "give" was all of the deep feelings and emotions that I had to give the characters and the scenes. The "take"... It took a lot of stength and energy to develop the constant deep feelings and emotions of the characters and the scenes. It was absolutely draining writing this book. But hey... That's what I do!!!
Now its recovery time. After a period of promoting, it will be time for a much needed vacation. Of course, all writers know that I'm only fooling myself... Because we writers just can't help ourselves. There's no such thing as a vacation for a writer, because we're constantly thinking. And we're always afraid that if we stop thinking and writing, we might miss writing that next bestseller. So, I will just say that I will take a breather for now rather than a vacation. Hum... How does that sound? A little closer to the truth I think. :)

A man who has some deceit and deception of his own, as will as some other skeletons in his closet. Tina enters his life, turning his world upside down, and changing it forever. Also making him regret the day that he ever met her.
This is a book filled with many interesting twists and turns.
