How to say "about" in Korean + New book update!
A few months ago I ran a Kickstarter crowd-funding project to create the sequel to my book "Korean Made Simple." And now the sequel is finally released!
The book is called "Korean Made Simple 2," and it picks up right where the first book leaves off, continuing with new lessons on Korean grammar, culture, history, holidays, and even idioms. You'll learn over 1,000 new vocabulary words and phrases through 20 in-depth and fun lessons, filled with plenty of examples. Additionally, practice sections with answer keys are built into every chapter. This book also contains advanced level notes for more skilled Korean speakers looking for a review, as well as an appendix dedicated to additional reading practice in Korean.
You can check it out here , or find it directly through Amazon and most online retailers.
And this week we have another new episode of the "Learn Korean" video series. This week's episode will explain how to say "about" in Korean using the 에 대해(서) and 에 대한 forms.
Remember to also check out the free PDF version of this lesson, with extra information and examples, on the YouTube PDFs page (link at top).

Learn about Korean prepositions!
This week we have a new lesson in the "Learn Korean" video series - "Prepositions."
"What is a preposition?" They're useful in English for describing the location of one noun to another. For example, we can say "The cat is under the desk," or "The book is on the floor." There are many prepositions that you can learn, and this video will cover a few of the most important ones. (Note: in Korean these are actually called 'postpositions').
Remember to also check out the free PDF version of this lesson, with extra information and examples, on the YouTube PDFs page (link at top).

How to Learn Korean with K-Drama
Did you know that you can study Korean using Korean TV shows? Watch the video here to find out how!How to Learn Korean with K-Drama
What you’ll need:A notepad and a pen (that's it!)What you’ll need to do:Write down every word that you hear, but that you don’t understand – yes, every word.Notice:Don’t worry if you’re misspelling words. As your listening improves over time, you will be able to write down the words more accurately. What to do with the word list:After watching an episode, you will probably have a very long vocabulary list, full of words that you didn’t understand. Now use a dictionary and look up each of the words. If you can’t find the word in the dictionary, then skip it. If you find the word, but it has a difficult or strange meaning, then also skip it.Then, study the remaining words that you found with definitions. This might only be 10% of your original list or less, but this is fine. Finally, repeat this method again with a new list. Why this works:Koreans will often use the same vocabulary words over and over again when speaking, and this includes television shows. Although you might not understand many of the words at first, after making many lists in this way, and studying the words you’ve found, your lists will get shorter and shorter. Most importantly:
Practice the words that you’re learning as much as possible. You will be able to remember these words and phrases much more easily if you can use them in any way.

We've reached 100 videos! Here are some outtakes.
It's been a great year and a half (almost two years actually) since I started the YouTube channel and began teaching Korean through videos. So many of you have been supportive of me since the very beginning, and many others found my channel more recently and have been just as helpful. Thanks to your support, we've reached 100 videos on the channel. To commemorate this, I've put together a quick reel of outtakes from filming.
Thank you all again, and enjoy :-)
