Two of my favorite Korean foods - 떡볶이 and 순대 (GO! Billy Eats)
Have you ever tried 떡볶이 or 순대 before? These are two of my favorite Korean foods - especially 순대.
떡볶이 is made with soft rice cake (떡 means "rice cake"), and is a sweet and spicy dish that you can buy at many street-side restaurants.
순대 is essentially a blood sausage (it's not an American "sundae"), made with pig intestine.... Should I go on? Don't let the thought of it turn you off. 순대 is my favorite Korean food for a reason, and it's delicious.
Check out the video below to learn more~!

And are you just starting to learn Korean, or want a solid review of the basics? Then my book "Korean Made Simple: A beginner's guide to learning the Korean language" is the book for you! You can check the book out on my site here , or find it directly through Amazon and most online retailers.

Common mistakes Korean learners make (Q&A #8)
This week let's talk about some common mistakes that people make when learning Korean. There are 3 major ones that I talk about - using proper sentence structure, using the right particles, and using the right politeness levels. Find out more details in the video below!
If you have any questions of your own, feel free to send me a message either through YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Google, or anywhere you can find me, and it might be featured in the next episode. Your question can be about anything - Korean or not.

Have you ever tried Korean pizza? (GO! Billy Eats)
Did you know that Korean pizza is different from other kinds of pizza? A typical pizza in Korea can cost between $10~30, depending on the place and the toppings. $30 might sound like a lot of money for a pizza, but it's definitely worth it.
In this video I check out an amazing pizza with steak, potatoes, barbeque sauce, and a ton of other ingredients you'd never find anywhere else. There's a reason I'm always willing to pay the price to eat a pizza in Korea - and why I miss Korea so much when I'm not there.
And have you ever wondered how to order a pizza in Korean? Watch the first part of this video (I recommend pausing and writing it down) to find out one way how. There are subtitles for ordering in both English and Korean.

One of my favorite Korean phrases - "배 속에 거지가 들었다"
One of my favorite idioms in Korean is "배 속에 거지가 들었다." Let's break it up simply here:
배 = "stomach"속 = "inside" or "depths"거지 = "beggar"들다 = "to enter," "to go in"
So, a beggar went into my stomach? Pretty much, yes. Find out more about this idiom (and what it means to have a beggar in your stomach) by watching the video below!
