Welcome to "GO! Billy Korean"
The last time I made a YouTube channel trailer was in 2016, nearly 5 years ago. A lot has changed since then, and my channel has changed too.
So I wanted to make a new channel trailer for the new year. Here's my latest trailer.

This course is a complete beginner level course, and all of the episodes go in order. If you're just jumping into this course now, make sure to start from the beginning so you don't miss any important grammar, vocabulary, or essential concepts.

Grading Twice’s Korean | Mina & Tzuyu
Now this isn't going to be a series I do every week, but I did film 3 videos back to back - 2 are about Twice, and 1 more (coming soon) will be about a different K-pop group.
Last time I analyzed the Korean of Sana and Momo from the group Twice, and this time I talk about Mina and Tzuyu. I cover how they speak Korean, how they've improved, what they do well, how they could improve, and a lot more.
Who do you think I should analyze next?

Billy Go’s Beginner Korean Course | #74: Could It Be?
We're up to lesson 74, and it's time to learn a bit more about the ~까(요) verb ending. This is a useful grammar ending that can be used to mean "Could it be?"
This course is completely free, and teaches from the very beginning to a solid beginner level.
If this is your first time seeing a video in this course, and would like to learn Korean, please start from the first episode.
Everything is taught in order and builds on top of the previous lessons, and you might miss something important if you skip ahead.

Billy Go’s Beginner Korean Course | #73: If and When
This lesson will teach how to say "if" and "when" in your sentences. To do that, we'll learn two new grammar forms - (으)면 and (을/ㄹ) 때.
We're up to lesson 73, out of a total of 100. The higher up we go, the faster things might feel like they're moving. Remember to take your time to practice, and slow down if you feel things are moving too fast. Everything goes in order, so you can always re-watch lessons and take notes again until you feel comfortable with the topic.

~아/어/etc. 있다 Verb States | Live Class Abridged
In case you missed this past Sunday's live stream, here's a full edited review of the class.
We learned about the grammar form ~아/어/etc. 있다. This form is used to describe the state of something using a verb. For example, it can be used to show that someone is "in the state of sitting down" or a door is "in the state of being open." It's useful with a lot of action verbs to describe something as it already is, and not just to say that something is currently happening.
We also learned how this form is different from ~고 있다, which we learned in a previous live stream.

Grading Twice’s Korean | Sana & Momo
Just how good is the Korean of the non-native members of Twice?
There are four non-native Korean speakers in Twice - Sana, Momo, Mina, and Tzuyu.
Here's my analysis of Sana and Momo's Korean.
Next I'll analyze Mina and Tzuyu.

Billy Go’s Beginner Korean Course | #72: Showing Contrast
In a previous lesson we learned how to connect sentences using the ~지만 verb ending.
This ~지만 ending showed contrast, but it's not the only form used in Korean to contrast two sentences.
In this form we'll learn another form used to show contrast, the ~데 form.
Remember that this series goes in order from the beginning, so start with Lesson 1 if you're new to this series. There will be a total of 100 episodes when it's complete.
