I was browsing the internet recently and I found, snuggled in nicely between ‘Get Supermodel EyeBrows in Under Two Minutes’ and ‘The 10 Best Dating Sites in the UK’an article offering ‘Seven Resources for Handling Digital Life After Death’. Intrigued, I dug a little deeper into the subject and discovered that there are hundredsof sites offering such services. Death, my friends, is a boom industry!

There are plenty of ways to make money with your writing, but all of them involve having an audience.
Concentrate on doing something consistently well over a long period of time and you will gain followers who may, one day, buy your writings.
The Dome Structure
Plot driven stories have, when plotted on a graph, a dome like structure, with excitement (or something like it) on the vertical axisand time onthehorizontal axis. This isknown as the‘Story Arc’.
Character driven stories have a different, more detailed arc (not described here), which revolves around the character’s need to change.

Power – the search for power / the loss of power / what we are willing to give up for power etc. Love – love fades / love is blind / love can overcome all obstacle etc. Good versus evil – the triumph of good over evil or vice versa...Mediumship
Some think that Automatic Writing involves channelling Spirit Guides and others think that it is the Higher Self that is being channelled, but whatever your belief, this can be a great way to put your critical mind to one side and get some productive writing time in. Hey, if it worked for the author Neale Donald Walsh (Conversations with God) then why shouldn’t it work for you?
Here are some tips on how to get started:
Make sure that the conditions are right before you settle down to write....February 10, 2016
How to be Good

I was listening to you with that Russian gentleman, and what you were telling him was all true. Yeah – despite that. I could tellyou a few things about him that would open your eyes, but just know fornow that he is sooo full of shtick. Yeah – technical term. Listen – don’t let his anger get to you. He’s just likeall thepeople at this party, no matter how gracious and beautiful they seem – it’s all flim-flam. Yeah – like...

It’s Just Me
Somewhere beneath my skin I shivered. I massaged the tremor – worrying my finger-pinched lips back and forth. Rain gusted across the tarpaulin above me and the many holes wolfed the wind through to my bare skin. February was no month for bare skin.
Just an hour before I had been cocooned in lights that spoke of sweetness and love. Laughter from close by had enveloped me like Jacuzzi bubbles and before me – conversation like a mouth full of hot buttery toast comforted my mind and swelled my so...
