Misunderstandings

There are some things that people might misunderstand about me that I should perhaps clarify.

These mostly revolve around my quietness.

Dont assume that my quietness in a group means that I have nothing to say. In a meeting, my general strategy is to listen and learn and not necessarily to contribute. Im not the kind of person who needs praise or plaudits. Im quite happy for those to go to other people. If I think of a good idea in a discussion, Ill wait for it to occur to someone else and...

How People can Earn an Extra Gold Star with Me

First thing I need to say is that Im not easily satisfied with people. I very rarely give out gold stars. This is probably because Im not really the kind of person who likes to have things done for me. I much prefer to do things for other people and get gold stars from them.

Sweet Sounding Subject

Whats that? You think youve rumbled my entire blogging strategy? And it comes to down to just typing

the first thing that comes into my head

Shame on you! It takes me long moments to work out these posts.

Long, long moments.

Erm.

This Brilliant Blog I Found

Just found this brilliant blog (at least, thats what I think it is) at www.loaded.co.uk.

It has six main sections:

newsentertainmentwomensportvideoclassic

I suppose that women is the contentious one, but it really shouldnt be. I mean, Ive not looked too closely at it because its lunch time at work (but its still work) but so long as it doesnt objectify women it should be alright, right?

The rest of them are straightforward enough and are packed full of entertaining looking article (well, its...

Who is the Mysterious 1800 His and Hers

Got myself a visitor today by the name of 1800 His and Hers. Heres the logo:

The thing is, the link-back to the originating WordPress account leads to a dead end.

Heres the link: 1800hisandhers.wordpress.com, but dont bother following it because the site seems to have been deleted or closed.

I did a bit of a search on the internet and found that theres a Facebook page, a Tumblr account and a Pinterest site associated with this name, but no WordPress account.

I didnt feel like exploring...

Red blood,
Stain inside
The sponge
A squeeze

Fortunate
Very Close
A swoon
Darkness

The clock
Deafening
The hand
Sweating

The slash
Screaming
The fall
Shhhhhh

An Insight into my Character

Just before he left the business, my old boss, Jack, gave me a box of blue Bic Cristal pens. Now, I dont really like writing with blue ink, and I had loads of old black pens left and so the blues languished in the box, in a drawer for several years. Just a lately, though, Ive found that pens are starting to stop working. Which means that, finally, The Age of Blue Ink has come!

Thing is, though, pens have expiry dates too. It might not be printed on the end of the box, but they do stop working...
