Crafty morning!
So I missed my mum’s birthday and being...
Crafty morning!
So I missed my mum’s birthday and being skint I decided to get her the spiced tea she can’t get back home and add a little box of the sunflower seed cookies I got. I actually had a lovely morning - made myself a coriander omelette and coffee and taught myself how to make an origami gift box. Listened to the Chilled Crafty Playlist which is mostly Blur and Laura Marling. I definitely need to do more origami, it was completely relaxing doing something with my hands that didn’t involve words.
I also used the leftover card from my mum’s boxes to make her a little birthday card - I just doodled the insignia for Parker which I find myself drawing everywhere in coloured pens and it came out quite cute. Screw buying cards forever!
My chum also just lost one of her rat babies so I made another cookie box to send to her too.
My nibbling on said cookies throughout the whole process might have also had something to do with the enjoyment.
