Author Rodney M. Hall's roots extend from his birthplace in Southern Idaho, through the Rocky Mountains of Northern Idaho, the coast of the Pacific Northwest, and finally, to where he currently resides, in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains of East Tennessee. With his rural upbringing, he feels right at home in the breathtaking natural beauty of the Smokies.
As an accomplished photographer, Rodney has captured images of the landscape as well as special events celebrating the history and heritage of the area he calls home.

I never seem to be out of ideas and the stories usually flow when I am writing. But the thing that I do struggle with is taking advantage of all the time that I could be writing. I find myself easily distracted. So that is my biggest struggle, pushing everything else to the side and dedicating the time to writing. And the only answer that I have for that is to make a decision to write and stick with it, no matter how bad you think it is.(less)
