New Park City Firefighter Romance
I hope you're having a fabulous winter day. I am freezing! I keep piling on more clothes, turning on the fireplace, and downing hot chocolate. We've had some insane weather here, -27 degrees last week. Yes, that was negative! -40 with the windchill. It's been so much fun to be a part of the Billionaire Bride Pact series. I thought I'd be thoroughly sick of billionaires by now, but I am sad to say goodbye to this series. It's actually really fun to have unlimited resources (who knew?).

New Romance for the New Year
All of our cell phones started ringing at 5:35 a.m. this morning. It was the school telling us that because of heavy snowfall in the night school had been pushed back two hours. Yay for my teenagers being able to sleep in! My 6yo came to my room half asleep. I told him Kindergarten was cancelled. He kissed my cheek, climbed into my bed, and fell back to sleep until nine.
Even though I was happy to be off-schedule today, I really love New Years and all the resolutions and the kick to get more done. Firefighter Romances
I decided yesterday was the day to teach my 10yo and 6yo boys how to snow ski. They both were extremely car sick on the way up the canyon. I'll let you imagine the mess and the smell. The first three-quarters of the day on the mountain they spent more time crashing and crying than skiing. The beauty of the day was that they did figure it out by the last hour, and happily skiied down several runs by themselves.
But the really amazing thing were the heroes that helped me out, without me ever asking. From my 14yo son and nephew literally carrying them down the mountain at first to progressing to just holding hands and encouraging when they crashed. I can't even remember how many men helped us throughout the day -- picking one of the boys up when they were in a tangled heap and I was trying to get to them, and helping them on their way -- bringing a ski or a pole to us that had flown the wrong direction -- giving them pounds or high fives and words of encouragement -- carrying six sets of skis, poles, and boots to my van while the teenagers and I carried the little boys who were "frozen and dying".
Chivalry and heroism is definitely alive in my mind and the reason I am absolutely in love with the new Park City Firefighter Romances. But the really amazing thing were the heroes that helped me out, without me ever asking. From my 14yo son and nephew literally carrying them down the mountain at first to progressing to just holding hands and encouraging when they crashed. I can't even remember how many men helped us throughout the day -- picking one of the boys up when they were in a tangled heap and I was trying to get to them, and helping them on their way -- bringing a ski or a pole to us that had flown the wrong direction -- giving them pounds or high fives and words of encouragement -- carrying six sets of skis, poles, and boots to my van while the teenagers and I carried the little boys who were "frozen and dying".
Chivalry and heroism is definitely alive in my mind and the reason I am absolutely in love with the new Park City Firefighter Romances.
