Rosemary Beach Fun!
We had a great signing on Monday morning (July 2) at the Hidden Lantern bookstore in Rosemary Beach, Florida. Thank you to Diane Carvalho and her entire staff for a fun morning signing books and meeting new readers. Had the added pleasure of having lunch with the family at one of our favorite spots–the Summer Kitchen Cafe–after the signing. It was a fantastic start to an awesome day on Highway 30A.

Book Tour Returns to Highway 30A
Our tour for THE LAST TRIAL returns to familiar territory this Monday (July 2) for signings at two of my favorite bookstores. I’ll be at the Hidden Lantern at Rosemary Beach from 10:00 am to noon. Then we’ll head to Seaside for a signing on the porch at Sundog Books from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
Can’t wait to return to these fantastic bookstores along the Gulf Coast! Have you gotten your beach book yet? My wife (Yes, I put her up to this) has a suggestion…

State Bar Tradition
It has become a bit of a tradition to have a book signing at the Alabama State Bar’s Annual meeting after a new release. Like always, this year’s event was special as I was able to see many old friends and colleagues. Thank you to Pam Greer with the Hidden Lantern bookstore for selling the books, the Hilton Sandestin Beach and Golf Resort for hosting the meeting and the Alabama State Bar for having me again. Fun times!

Great Time in Decatur!
I was honored to be the guest speaker at the annual luncheon of the Friends of the Decatur Public Library at Burningtree Country Club in Decatur, Alabama. This was my third time speaking for the Friends, and it was neat seeing so many familiar faces. There were ninety people in attendance, and Books-A-Million was on hand selling copies of all three books. Thanks so much to the Friends of the Decatur Public Library, Susan Thompson, Burningtree Country Club and BAM for a great event!!

Great Trip to Davidson!
We had a great weekend in Charlotte and Davidson, North Carolina for my signing at Main Street Books just off the campus of my alma mater, Davidson College. From seeing great friends the night before to my tv interview with Fox 46 News Saturday morning to the signing itself Saturday afternoon, it was a fantastic time. So fun seeing old friends and meeting new readers of the series. As Dixie’s birthday is coming up in a couple weeks, we even got to celebrate a little early.

Next Stop: Davidson, North Carolina!
Well, we are on the road this weekend for a special signing. I’ll be in Davidson, North Carolina tomorrow (Saturday, June 9) at 4:00 pm for a book talk and signing at Main Street Books. I graduated from Davidson College in 1996 and haven’t been back on campus since my ten year reunion. Gonna be a trip down Memory Lane, and I can’t wait!
Also, I’ll be on Fox 46 Charlotte tomorrow morning between 7:30 and 8 am with anchor Ann Wyatt Little to discuss my books and promote the signing in Davidson tomorrow afternoon. If you live in the viewing area, please be sure to tune in.
