Jeb Bohn is a writer, drummer, and author of the Herman Ingram series. A lover of storytelling, Jeb has spent close to a decade enthralling readers across multiple genres. Through emphasizing humanity, humor, and character, he crafted the sarcastic journalist-turned-unlikely hero Herman Ingram. The character has since appeared in three novels, with more in the future.

Jeb received the title of Best American Thriller Author at the 2023 Media Innovator Awards. He also captured Best Sport History Author for North Carolina hockey chronicle, A Storm In Carolina. The book was further named as “One of the Best New Professional Hockey Books” by BookAuthority.

If it occurs while I am working on a project in-progress, I try to think of tangents that can be added to give the story depth. Even if what I come up with ultimately doesn't get included in the final work, it often gets my mind churning out thoughts and ideas, which is rarely bad. Failing that, I step away and focus on something else and try to clear my mind. It could be playing or listening to music, going out to take pictures or putting together a model, anything not directly related to what I am writing. Oddly enough, sometimes it all ends up tying together.(less)

Of course, it's always nice to share your creation with others and hopefully achieve your goal with readers, be it to entertain, enlighten or educate. It's also rewarding to grow your talents as a writer, stretch out into different genres or mediums and see what you are able to achieve.(less)
