Nishith Singh was born and raised in an arid small town in the Indian sub-continent, Bhilai Nagar, where the soil is blood red. He trained as a physician at the Calcutta University before moving to America for further training as a cancer physician. Nishith is passionate about writing. He believes that joy and wonder are accessible in the most momentary gazes of everyday individuals given to kindness, and beauty is the solitary word on the page, the singular tune, which the most honest mood of our heart begets even if it were its only creation in a lifetime.
