The Magic of Vibration ~ Alternate thinking

CymaticsEverything is energy...
Everything in the universe is energy. Nothing is actually solid. Instead, objects are made up of microscopic particles vibrating at such a fast rate that they appear solid. Our limited sense of sight doesn’t let us see the movement, or vibration, of the particles. Every object, including human organs, have a natural healthy vibratory rate referred to as “resonance”. If a part of the body begins to vibrate out of resonance or harmony, it creates what we term dis-...

Like a moth to a flame

Meaning ~Irresistibly and dangerously attracted to something or someone.Origin~ The phrase is a simple allusion to the well-known attraction that moths have to bright lights. The word moth was used the the 17th century to mean someone who was apt to be tempted by something that would lead to their downfall. This is referred to by Shakespeare in The Merchant of Venice, 1596:"Thus hath the candle singd the moath."

Had to share a wonderful couple of websites on writing with you all. Ian Irvine   “A writer’s job is to give his readers pleasure …
through stress, strain and tension.” ~ Sol SteinThe essentials of successful storytelling – for popular fiction, are external conflict, inner conflict, compelling characters and sustained suspense.
According to Maass, every hero should have “a torturous need, a consuming fear, an aching regret, a visible dream, a passionate longing, an inescapable ambition,...

The Soul ~

Freydoon RassouliThe soul in many religions, philosophical and mythological traditions, is the incorporeal and immortal essence of a living being. According to Abrahamic religions, only human beings have immortal souls. For example, the Catholic theologian Thomas Aquinas attributed "soul" (anima) to all organisms but argued that only human souls are immortal. Other religions (most notably Hinduism and Jainism) teach that all biological organisms have souls while some teach that even non-...

Pictures tell stories...

Tokujin YoshiokaThe MoonIn fullness ~
Throughout nature, we find a cavalcade of energetic counterparts: Light/Dark, Male/Female, Increase/Decrease, etc., and the moon takes her place in the balance as the counterpart to the sun.
The sun is symbolic of the fraternal (male, yang) aspect of guidance; and so logically the moon stoically stands as the maternal (female or yin) influence.
The moon is considered a luminary, but she produces no light of her own accord. She is reliant upon the sun's...

Writing is a calling. If you are called, answer.

Writing is a calling. If you are called, answer.  Everyone is creative, some have just forgotten. When I started to type my first EVER draft, I felt overwhelmed, but the one thing that kept me going was why? Why did my muse pull me away from art into writing? The only answer that I could find is that I'm meant to be the one to tell this particular tale. I could've kept this fictional world a secret, but through art, I've learned to share. Odd as it may sound, sharing creativity, in various...
