Misunderstanding (Nov 29)
Bianca couldn’t believe she’s said all that to him. Any second he would run screaming back into the house, pack his bag, and never return.
She knew he wasn’t a forever kind of guy. He was a guy who liked to have fun then move on. She understood.
But she couldn’t do it.
“I shouldn’t have said all that. I’m sorry,” Bianca said, forcing back the emotions swirling through her.
“Why? You were right?”
“What?” she gasped, whirling around to face him.
George smiled. “You’re right. Every word. I felt it too, and I’ve never felt like that, not from a kiss or anything else. I can only imagine what it would be like to make love to you.”
Bianca stood, shocked, as George pulled her into his arms and kissed her again.
There was no hesitation this time. Pure, raw desire coursed through her, feeding her need for him. George clutched her tight against his body, his one hand diving through her hair and tilting her head back to where he wanted it.
Bianca let her hands graze over his chest. Each touch seemed to make him more frenzied, more rapturous. He lifted her into his arms, her legs immediately wrapping around his hips, and lowered them into one of the swings.
George’s thumbs brushed over Bianca’s nipples, making her break their kiss with a soft moan.
“You’re beautiful,” George whispered. “I want you, but not here. Not like this.”
“I know,” Bianca agreed. She would have done anything he asked, but she was glad he stopped them.
“Let’s go back inside and warm you up. Then you can tell me everything.”
“Everything?” Bianca questioned.
“Yep,” George said with a grin. “I want to know everything about you.”
“Oh,” Bianca exclaimed, smiling.

Misunderstanding (Nov 28)
George knew kissing Bianca was wrong. Steven had asked him to stay away from her, she’d just gone through a break-up, and they were in her grandmother’s backyard, with all her family inside.
But despite all that, he didn’t want to stop.
Eventually he’d have to deal with Steven, but he’d worry about that later.
The biggest issue for him was her break-up. He didn’t want to hurt her, but he knew he would.
Slowly, George eased back, ending the kiss. Bianca’s arms were still around his neck and his around her waist. She looked up at him with the sexiest bedroom eyes he’d ever seen. “Why did you stop?”
George closed his eyes and took a deep breath. He could feel her body begin to tense, preparing for what he was going to say.
“Are you ready for this? Whatever this is?”
“It’s just a kiss,” she argued, but he could hear the emotion in her voice. It meant as much to her as it did to him.
“We both know that’s not true,” George replied. “That was more than just a kiss.”
Bianca heaved a deep breath and spun out of his arms. She ran her fingers through her hair, making George’s fingers twitch with need. He wanted her back in his arms. He wanted his fingers in her hair. He wanted to kick his own ass for breaking their kiss.
“Yes, it was more than just a kiss. It made me forget everything. It made me wish I hadn’t wasted so long on Adam. It made me wish we’d known each other longer than a few hours. A kiss can do a lot, but that was more than a simple kiss. That was life changing.”

Misunderstanding (Nov 27)
Bianca was done waiting for George to make the first move. She knew he wanted her. It was clear in the way he looked at her, how he watched her, and the huskiness of his voice.
She knew he thought she was on the rebound. Maybe she still was, but Bianca didn’t think so. It had been over with Adam for a while, long before either of them said the words.
And Bianca was ready to feel something again. Even if she wasn’t ready to define that something.
The first brush of her lips on his brought to life parts of Bianca she worried were dormant. She would never admit the twinge she felt in her heart, but she couldn’t deny it.
Nor could she deny the goosebumps that covered her when George’s hand cupped her cheek and tilted her head right before his tongue requested entry.
Her lips parted for him on a sigh. Their tongues brushed together, tentatively at first. It didn’t take long for the tension to ease from George’s shoulders and for him to take over the kiss.
Bianca loved the feel of his arms around her, his lips pressed against hers. She lost herself in that moment, forgetting everything except George.
And it felt wonderful.

Happy Thanksgiving
I hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving today.
I’m thankful for a lot this year, starting with still being alive! I’m thankful for my family and friends, for my doctors and nurses, for my job and every one of my readers.
I’ve had struggles this year, just like everyone, but we came out of it just fine, and 2016 will be an even better year!
What are you thankful for this year?

Misunderstanding (Nov 25)
George smiled to himself. He loved that Bianca wanted to know what he was thinking. She was every bit as sensual as he’d initially thought.
And he was still an ass for wanting her.
“I was wondering how stupid your ex was to let you go. And how big of a dick I had to be to hit on you when you’d just gotten out of a relationship.”
Bianca’s face fell. George knew he’d pushed a button she didn’t want pushed. He also knew he’d never forgive himself if he didn’t at least ask her about her ex and the end of the relationship.
“Adam and I were together for a long time. We met in college but were just friends. We ran into each other a year ago and hit it off.”
“So what happened?”
Bianca took a deep breath. He watched her clench her fists and release each hand, one finger at a time. George knew he wasn’t going to like what she said, but he had to hear it.
“I outgrew him. I guess we outgrew each other, but I said it first. He wasn’t very happy with me, but eventually he agreed. I miss him. As a friend. We always got along, and even though we didn’t work as a couple, he was a good friend.”
She sniffed, wiping her cheeks, and George had an undeniable urge to hold her in his arms. He pulled her to her feet and wrapped his arms around her. She fit under his chin perfectly, but he couldn’t resist ducking his head and inhaling her hair.
Bianca pulled back slightly and looked up at him, then slowly pulled his face down to hers.

Chubby & Charming, First Kiss
A first kiss is something amazing, something special. Mandy and Xander’s first kiss is hot and sweet and powerful. I had to share it with you this week!
“You look amazing. I almost don’t want to do this,” he said.
“Do what?” I started to ask but was cut off by his lips on mine.
He held my hand tightly, his other hand drifting softly over my cheek. His lips were pressed loosely against mine, small kisses traded between us. I sighed, loving the feel of his lips on mine, and his tongue reached out to stroke my lips. They parted automatically, as if under his command, and his tongue slid into my mouth.
Only one more week! Chubby & Charming will be available December 1!

Misunderstanding (Nov 23)
Bianca was dying to know what George was thinking about her. The second she asked his eyes heated up and air around them went from chilly to hotter than the sun.
Just as suddenly he turned shy. He ran a hands through his hair and ducked his chin. If she wasn’t mistaken, Bianca saw his cheeks turn pink.
“I, uh,” his hand went through his hair again. “I wanted to know what you tasted like. I was more interested in eating you than Thanksgiving dinner.”
He ducked his chin again and wouldn’t meet her eyes. Bianca grinned, unable to stop the rush of heat and need coursing through her.
“What else were you thinking about?”

Misunderstanding (Nov 22)
George wasn’t sure what possessed him to go after her, but he felt like he had to.
He was lying on the couch, trying to sleep. All he could think about was Bianca and the way she looked at him before he ran off. Then, like he’d conjured her from the moonlight, she appeared.
At first he thought she was there to see him, but when she snuck out the back, he had to know where she was going.
She was studying him as he stood next to her, holding onto the chains of the empty swing beside her. He was trying to read her expression, and wasn’t sure he liked what he saw.
“Why now? A few hours ago you ran from me so fast I thought you were going to trip over your own feet,” Bianca sniped.
George sighed and dropped the chains, letting the swing fly free. “You’re right. I heard about your ex and I ran. I’m not usually a relationship kind of guy. The way I was thinking about you… I just felt like an ass for what I was thinking after Steven told me to back off and I realized why.”
Bianca looked up at him from under her lashes. She smiled shyly and asked, “What were you thinking about me?”

Misunderstanding (Nov 21)
Bianca watched George go. A part of her wanted to chase after him, but she saw the look in his eyes. The look of confusion and distrust and anger.
It wasn’t worth it.
Instead Bianca finished her dinner, George’s half-filled plate mocking her from the empty seat.
Later that night, when the house was quiet, Bianca felt the need to escape. Whenever they all got together the desire to be alone snuck up on her. Being an only child and living alone most of her adult life had trained her to love solitude and silence.
She quietly twisted the knob of the room she shared with Amber. A squeak made her freeze, but Amber kept sleeping. Bianca slipped out of the room and padded barefoot down the stairs, through the living room, beyond the kitchen, and silently out the back door.
With the door closed quietly behind her, Bianca stepped out into the cool grass. The dampness chilled her feet, but she didn’t care. She headed straight for the swing set that she knew was older than she was.
Bianca closed her eyes as she kicked her feet, letting the soft squeak of the old swing soothe her. She forgot about George, she forgot about her break up, she even forgot about her job and family. It was just her and the swing, like it had been so many times before.
Something stirred in the moonlight, pulling Bianca from her cocoon of solitude. Her eyes snapped open and she saw a figure watching her in the darkness. He moved closer, making Bianca’s heart rate kick up.
Then he said, “Is this seat taken?”
