Misunderstanding (Nov 28)

George knew kissing Bianca was wrong. Steven had asked him to stay away from her, she’d just gone through a break-up, and they were in her grandmother’s backyard, with all her family inside.

But despite all that, he didn’t want to stop.

Eventually he’d have to deal with Steven, but he’d worry about that later.

The biggest issue for him was her break-up. He didn’t want to hurt her, but he knew he would.

Slowly, George eased back, ending the kiss. Bianca’s arms were still around his neck and his around her waist. She looked up at him with the sexiest bedroom eyes he’d ever seen. “Why did you stop?”

George closed his eyes and took a deep breath. He could feel her body begin to tense, preparing for what he was going to say.

“Are you ready for this? Whatever this is?”

“It’s just a kiss,” she argued, but he could hear the emotion in her voice. It meant as much to her as it did to him.

“We both know that’s not true,” George replied. “That was more than just a kiss.”

Bianca heaved a deep breath and spun out of his arms. She ran her fingers through her hair, making George’s fingers twitch with need. He wanted her back in his arms. He wanted his fingers in her hair. He wanted to kick his own ass for breaking their kiss.

“Yes, it was more than just a kiss. It made me forget everything. It made me wish I hadn’t wasted so long on Adam. It made me wish we’d known each other longer than a few hours. A kiss can do a lot, but that was more than a simple kiss. That was life changing.”
