“Before You” Coming February 2014…
SYNOPSIS
* Book #1 in the Before You Series *
Aubrey Keaton has never had a supportive family. Luckily, she has Camden…
Her childhood friend. Her savior. Her boyfriend.
Even after Camden leaves their hometown to chase his dream to be a musician, Aubrey can’t imagine her life without Camden and his family.
Before starting a job search for her own dream job, Aubrey decides to visit Camden in California for a month. But when she arrives, something unexpected happens…she meets Jax Carmichael, the lead singer in Camden’s band.
Jax Carmichael doesn’t have time for a relationship…much less love.
Even if Aubrey is irresistible, she’s a complication he doesn’t want or need. He has spent the last few years building Chasing Ruin, and the band is on the verge of being signed. Pursuing Aubrey could destroy his band, and he’s worked too hard to be successful without his family’s money, or connections, to let that happen.
Aubrey feels an attraction to Jax like something she’s never experienced before.
Confused, she tries to resist, but when her relationship with Cam begins to unravel, she realizes that Jax might just be the one thing she needs.

Bob at the Lake by Roz Murphy
Tired of those Winter Blahs?
Escape–Read ‘Bob at the Lake’!
Meet Bob, the smart-aleck, martini-loving ghost, as he makes Roz’s quiet life in the Finger Lakes very . . . well, let’s just say ‘complicated.’
Especially after Roz meets David, the kind and oh-so-sensible grapegrower who lives up the hill.
Roz Murphy is the pseudonym of a shy, retiring writer who doesn’t want her neighbors to know how nutty she really is. Brooklyn-born and Jersey-bred, Roz now lives on the misty shore of one of New York’s beautiful Finger Lakes. Prior to that, her business writing career took her to many locations, including Manhattan, where she worked for a number of years. As a freelance and corporate writer, Roz won several national and international writing and communications awards.
Now Roz is pursuing her first love—fiction. She’s writing the ‘Bob’ books, the humorous chronicle of a crabby ‘woman of a certain age’ who moves to the wintry shores of a New York lake—and gets a ghost. And not just any ghost, mind you. Bob’s a plump, middle-aged ghost from 1920s Manhattan who swans around in a silk smoking jacket and drinks far too many martinis. Stir the good-looking grape grower who lives up the hill into this mix and you get a pretty potent screwball cocktail!
When she’s not reading, writing, hill-walking, staring mindlessly out the window at the water or piling rocks onto her ever-diminishing lakefront, you can usually find Roz hanging out with her family, travelling, or exploring the amazing wines and wineries of the Finger Lakes.
‘Bob at the Lake’ is currently available as a Kindle download from Amazon and it will be in print in May 2014. Please join Roz Murphy Author on FaceBook for updates on the many adventures of Roz, David—and Bob.
Join Roz, David–and Bob–as they tussle with all of those delightful country adventures, like cookie mazes, wine tastings, and snowy power outages. Does it get any better than this???
‘Bob at the Lake,’ by R. Murphy, is currently available exclusively for Kindle at Amazon.com. Print copies can be purchased in May 2014. Please follow me, RozMurphyAuthor, on Facebook.

Spotlight on Entity Mine by Karin Shah
Thanks for having me, Lisa! My latest novel ENTITY MINE comes out in Feb/Mar and I’m delighted to have the opportunity to talk about it. The idea for this book came about because I love stories about ghosts.
I’m addicted to Ghost Hunting shows (though, I consider myself an open-minded skeptic). The movie Ghost is also a favorite, but the big problem with Ghost is the happy ending sees the hero walking off into the light alone. Not quite satisfying for a devoted Romance reader like me. I want a happy ending with a happily ever after, not a happily ever afterlife!
So I got thinking, my heroes are Chimeras, Shapeshifters who can turn into lions or dragons, but most of the Mara brothers don’t know what they are. What if my hero shifted without knowing it–and got stuck in between forms?
Thus ENTITY MINE was born.
How about you? What do you think about the Ghost Hunting shows? Do you have a ghost story to share?
Blurb: Former Navy SEAL turned maritime treasure hunter Ethan Wade has had a piss-poor year. After nearly choking out his financial backer costs him his livelihood, he retreats to an isolated rental house in Western, NY to lick his wounds and make sure he can’t hurt anyone else. When his old crew track him down to convince him to come back, a Molotov cocktail of rage and alcohol drives him drives him to do something he’s never done before, and doesn’t even know he can do–
Shape-shift.
Unfortunately, in his ignorance, rather than shift into a lion or a dragon, he ends up disembodied. Not knowing what he is, he can only come to one conclusion. He’s died and is a ghost.
Lawyer Devon Daughtry’s year hasn’t been one for the record books either. Blowing the whistle lost her her boyfriend, (not too much of a loss), her job, (a bit worse) and with the rents in Manhattan, a primo apartment (the straw that broke the camel’s back).
Now she’s home in Cassadaga determined to re-build her life by hanging out her shingle as a psychic medium.
When she discovers a photograph of Ethan while moving in, she’s immediately drawn to him and is crushed to discover he’s missing and presumed dead. Soon, she begins having passionate dreams about him. Dreams that Ethan shares.
But Ethan isn’t the only being in the house, a demonic presence has followed her home and it has diabolical plans for both of them.
Excerpt:Ethan sat in the cool dark for a while, listening to her preparations.
She deserved privacy, he reminded himself as she puttered in the bedroom.
He wasn’t going in there. That would be wrong. He wasn’t going in there. He wasn’t going in there.
He wasn’t — fuck it, he was.
She’d washed her face and it was shiny with some sort of cream. Her hair was bundled into a kind of messy knot that made his fingers itch to release the glossy red-gold stuff. Her nightclothes were prosaic, a black tank top and shorts, reminding him of the dream, but the top hugged her breasts and the shorts made her legs look a thousand miles long. All and all, she looked completely and utterly edible.
Ok, he was leaving.
In a minute.
Yawning, she slid her sleek legs under her warm quilt and again he remembered this was his bed. How many nights had he laid there alone. Not even realizing he was lonely. Not ’til her.
“Goodnight, handsome.” Startled, he glanced at her, thinking she’d seen him, to find her gaze locked on his picture. Something inside him tightened like a screw being turned and the lingering pain from the dream disappeared. She blew a kiss at the photo, then groped for the lamp on the nightstand. “Sleep tight.”

Son of Thunder by S.C. Mitchell
The Heavenly War begins!
A prophecy centering on a mortal woman, makes her the focus of events that could lead to Ragnarok, the Twilight of the Norse Gods and the end of the world.
Know this. The Son of Thunder and this daughter of Midgaard will venture to the lands of Svartalheim and Jotunheim, to the very bowels of Utgard Keep. The power of the three artifacts will be reunited and the old ways will pass. A secret from the past is the key to the future, but a life must be freely given if the Golden City is to be saved.
From the icy wastelands of Svartalheim, land of the dark elves, to the towering peaks of Jotunheim, home of the frost giants, and right to the golden gates of Asgaard, the saga begins as war ravages the heavens.
Son of Thunder is the first in the Heavenly War Series, a combination of fantasy, mythology and romantic adventure.
Son of Thunder
The man looked like a god. Then again, he was one. . .
Jord Thorson was a god– the son of Thor, the Norse God of Thunder. In his search to find his missing father, Jord seeks out the mortal, Meghan Larson, who is in possession of his only clue–Megingjörð, Thor’s magical belt of power.
But when the belt decides to take matters into its own hands, locking itself around Meghan’s waist, Jord and Meghan are plunged into the middle of a massive conflict that rages across the heavens.
Giants, magical artifacts, and a golden city in the clouds weren’t exactly what Meghan Larson expected when that amazing belt arrived at her museum. Now Megingjörð is stuck around her waist and talking to her in her head. She’s got to be dreaming, but with the wonders around her and hunky Jord Thorson at her side, Meghan’s not sure she wants to wake up.
S. C. Mitchell is also the author of Swiftly Beats the Heart, There’s no such thing as Werewolves, The Forsaken Templar, and Seeds of Immortality.

When Avery and Kalen First See Each Other in Marked by Destiny . . .
Despite her efforts, she couldn’t rid herself of the prickling sensation on the back of her neck, telling her someone or something watched her. Gingerly, she raised her head to survey the area again, and she noticed a man looming in the shadows of a building across the narrow street with his fedora pulled low over his eyes, obscuring his face. He stood in the shadows, diligently avoiding looking in her direction. He was a lean, tall man in a dark overcoat. She stared at him, trying to determine whether he was watching her. Almost as if she had called his name, he looked up and she found herself looking directly into the stranger’s glittering, emerald green eyes. She felt an immediate connection with him, an electric current pulsing through her body. He was darkly handsome, with a wide sensual mouth, classical facial features and midnight colored hair just long enough to peek out of the bottom of his hat. She hesitated, the connection between them mellowing then sending trails of heat cascading through her body. It felt as if she were being cuddled in a warm breeze that floated through her hair and down her clothes with an unholy promise of warmth.
His lips curved into a faintly dangerous smile, and Avery felt his magnetic pull. Come here, she heard drifting through her mind. Transfixed, she stepped into the street, wanting to talk to him, to touch him. Suddenly embarrassed, she broke eye contact and turned toward the Foundation door. As swiftly as the connection with him had materialized, it disappeared, leaving her feeling alone with a twinge of intense longing.
