What music do you listen to beside hip-hop?

Lots of stuff, Faith no more and and also Mike Patton in Peeping Tom.  I listen to a lot of GNR and Aerosmith. Fiona Apple, George Michael, Palace Brothers, Miles Davis,  Devo, Dead milkmen, Beat Happening, The U-men,  mutherfuckin’ Foghat, and that boys 2 men song where they make love to you.

Do you think your style would translate well to animation? Do you have any interest in animation?

I did some animation both in my distant past. (pepsi commercials working with James Jean) and in recent times. I’ve got an Adventure time episode about to come out that I co-wrote co-story boarded with the amazing Jesse Moynihan

I dunno, Animation is cool. I do really prefer comics.

I have no idea if my style would translate well. I tend to work in a short hand version of it when I’ve worked in animation. but maybe that just means I’m not a good animator.

Wow, that was pretty fucking brutal, eh? hahaha Jesus Christ... But now I'm curious, how do you feel about books being late? Both as a fan and as a professional? Personally, I don't mind waiting for waiting for quality, but sometimes it's hard to keep inte

I certainly like it when I can go to a store and know the book I’m excited to get is out. (I tend to buy all of Warren’s Empowered the day they’re out.) but it doesn’t stop me from getting a book I wanted when I see it when I see it a couple months later. I think there’s a line, having a book a month or 2 late is a different animal than something coming out a year later than planned. ( I know its a different scene with retailers who have to spend money to make money on these)

but yeah, it sounds like we’re on the same page. It’s great when books are on time but a little wait is ok if it’s an issue of quality.

This Prophet Earth war got a little away from me, but I’m really hoping  to stick these last 6 issues as far as quality because I’m thinking of the thing as a whole series now. I want it to read well in trade.

It’s interesting that dude compared Nonplayer to Orc stain. I feel like the only thing Stokoe messed up was not letting everyone know that he was gonna go off and make Godzilla and the one Marvel comic. If Orc stain was only sold as (book 1 of 4) then he’d be fine. As far as I know Nonplayer 2 has been done or near done for a long time and Nate just isnt sending it off— he has a kid and a day job now, so it is what it is.

Have you ever thought about trying prose or a novella? You got mad creative juices yo.

thankss. I would like to try some day but it’s such a different animal than comics even storyboarding was really alien to me. But yeah, I should write something in just text to if only to be really bad at it. Punctuation and spelling are not my strong suit.

Here’s me in my strong suit.
