I've been dealing with this dilemma of location lately, and I know you've moved around a decent amount, so I figured I'd ask. Do you think where you live has anything to do with connections in comics? I'm finally confident enough in my art to go for it, bu
I think the internet makes location matter less. you can post art and people all over the world can see it.
but yeahhh, that said, I certainly like living in a city with other people who do what I do. and it does help people think of your work when you’re in the same room.

Hiya Mr. Graham, I was thinking about something that you mentioned about how when you make comics almost all of your friends are also involved with comics, so it's a small world. When you first started out did it seem like such a "small world" to you? Or d
Most of the artists I knew were into graffiti when I was younger. (with some overlap in comics) I feel like it was only in my mid to late 20′s when I started hanging out with mostly comic people. .
It’s not such a small world. I feel like I meet new amazing artists all the time. I like that I get to pick who I interact with in the scene. So even if comics is a not so huge industry I don’t have to rub elbows with shitbags.
Hey man, have searched then internet far and wide to no avail for an answer to this. Is there ever going to be more 8house Archlight Issues?? it just seemed to dissapear...What happened?? For whats its worth...I thought it was awesome and would love to rea
Yeah, Marian is about half way through with Issue #3.
8house fell apart as an ongoing when the sales dipped really low. Mirror being resold as it’s own thing raised the orders a lot though.
but yeah, every story in 8house is going to continue as it’s own thing. Arclight has 2 more issues. that will come out sooonish. I’ll post more when we’re closer.
I have this really bad problem where I have so many ideas for different comics that I can't seem to focus and finally sit down to make one. Do you ever have this problem? And if so, what helps combat it?
I think a lot of ideas can be layered into one comic. When I was working on King city I would come up with a lot of other ideas that I would use as background information or side jokes. I tend to feel like ideas are worth less to me than how something is done.

Hey Brandon, are the Prophet Strikefile issues not going to be in the Earth War collection? Is this my deserved punishment for waiting on the collections? :O
The Strikefile issues are in the Trade before Earth war. Prophet Vol 4 Joining.

What's your opinion of bartkira? It feels to me like a joke that's gone a bit too far
That sounds like a reasonable explanation of it.
I guess they’re having fun. so cool? It seems like a lot of man-hours put into something derivative of other work.

Finally tracked down Universe So Big #2, a Brandon...

Finally tracked down Universe So Big #2, a Brandon Graham comic from 2000. I don’t think issue #3 ever came out.
This robot guy Broham reminds me of Jaxson from Prophet… and there’s a human character in this named Jaxson. Nice lil reference in Brandon’s later work.
Wasn't Deforge supposed to be in Island 7?
Yup.
I moved his story to Island 8 because of the length of Christmas’s Firebug story and ISLAND being 72 pages now.
