MAPS! I have maps! It took nearly seven months to get this right. I wanted a vintage watercolor look to give it the feel of a hand-tinted plate torn from the pages of an old history book. There are a few more place and street names to add, but I couldn’t wait to share the latest map of the town of Thornfall. There are still a couple pieces of interior art and one map coming together. Who doesn’t love a good map? I ended up with four pieces of art for the cover, but it’s come down to these two. I will have some book news to announce soon–a new book, first book in a new series, with a new title for those who’ve already read the pre-edit versions. (The inestimable Paula Guran is my favorite editor. I think you’ve edited four of my books, including my very first novel, Seaborn for Juno Books. What was that 2007?). I will be doing a cover reveal very soon (There are two covers, one for the ebook and trade paperback, and one for the hardcover and case laminate edition). I will have a release date pinned down shortly. In the meantime, I also wanted to let everyone know that I have moved my site to https://ChrisHowardWriter.com I’ll definitely keep SaltwaterWitch.com, but will probably narrow its scope to the Seaborn books. We’ll see!
