North American Iroquois - 7 generations
The North American Iroquois had a tradition that said: "In our every deliberation we must consider the impact of our decisions on the next seven generations."

Goals
It's that time of year. Many people look at it as a new start with new goals. Most often the strategies used for goal setting and goal achievement fall short of being effective. Goals must be attainable, but also push you to grow. They should carry with them strong meaning and a powerful reason as to why you want to achieve them. In other words, a strong "why". Have you set goals? Do you know what you want your future to look like? If you do, is there a strong "why" to fuel your actions? Check out the "GOALS" chapter in DSA. Your future-self will be happy you did.

Message from the Universe
EXCERPT FROM DSA:
Universe: “Ok Smartguy, you failed big, it was extremely painful, you’ll never forget this for the rest of your life, but here is your payoff. It’s in the form of this little lesson that I have discretely hidden in the event. You’d better learn it now or I’ll make you take this course again.”
Me: “Got it. Thanks.”

Just do it!
Since I wrote my first book, many people have told me that they have always wanted to write one. Sometimes we get caught up with life, or maybe we just don't have that extra push we need to go outside the box and do something that is unfamiliar or even scary. All I can say is that it feels great and when it actually sells very well right out of the gate, it's amazing. Do it. Whatever it is, Just do it.

How money actually works.
I always like Mike Maloney's way of explaining the monetary system and how it works. It is truly amazing because the writing seems to be on the wall. Heck, it has been on the wall for forever, yet it still seems to go unnoticed. Check out this video and get a copy of "Defining Success in America" for a fantastic interview with Michael Lurie on capitalism. The education is out there and it is very exciting. You just have to start looking.

Here is what people are saying about Defining Success in America!
It’s almost Here!
In just a couple of short weeks, you will be able to get a copy of Defining Success in America. The official book release won’t happen until January 2014, but some advanced copies in paperback are coming soon.
The response so far has been overwhelming for me and I must admit, a bit humbling. This book has been a labor of love for almost a year and the level of support and interest prior to it’s release has been very gratifying.
Here is a link to drop me your email, so you will be notified as soon as the first batch arrives. Here is what some people have said about Defining Success in America:
I was drawn to Danny right from the start, as he has always been a charismatic guy with a lot of ambition. He was very similar to me, as we seemed to be living parallel lives even though I was an athlete and he was a budding rock star. Danny has never been afraid to stick his nose out there to try something and fail. He has always somehow known (even if it was subconsciously) that failing is a big part of success. Failing is a huge part of being an athlete. You learn so much more from losing than winning or "succeeding". I saw a lot of myself in Danny and whether he knows this or not, I have learned a lot from him and continue to do so. I found “Defining Success in America” to be a captivating read that was insightful and humorous in the right places. Danny's ability to look at himself in the mirror after making a mistake, and both evaluate and laugh at him self was especially poignant for me. I am sure that all who take the time to read this book will not be disappointed, as there is some very good guidance in many areas here for everyone. I especially enjoyed Danny's ventures with his band and businesses (I remember most of them when they happened) as many of his revelations and solutions rang true on my path toward some of the same goals. Rock On! Danny

As the co-founder and owner of Signature Home Buyers, a multi-million dollar Real Estate Investment Firm who has grown to be the largest in the Northeast, I have made it a priority to read many success and motivational books over the years, always looking for that next competitive advantage. When Dan approached me about his new book, my first reaction was that it would be like all of the other books on the market. Well, I was wrong! Dan has done an outstanding job of breaking success down to it's simplest components. My advice to you is this ... Don't assume this is just another self-help book. The more I read, the more I couldn't put the book down. I found myself actually excited to get to the next chapter! As Dan shared many of his own stories of success and even failures in this book, I found myself relating his real life experiences to some of my own. It challenged me to reevaluate some of the things I thought were failures in my own life, but in retrospect, were actually successes. In business and in life, many of us are always looking for the next "golden nugget" of wisdom that will push us to the next level. Dan has made it so easy to understand, and helps us all to see that the answers are right in front of our face, if we just look! In my life, I have read hundreds of success books and have found this book to be up there with some of the greats. You owe it to yourself to own and read this book, because you will refer back to it for many years to come.
