My Experience at our First Exhibition
After attending many exhibitions as a visitor, I had always wanted to participate in one as an exhibitor. That opportunity finally arrived yesterday with our participation in this one-day expo.
Planning and preparation took a considerable amount of time. While Ramya had to make the fashion jewellery products, I had to learn and make videos for demonstration. I decided to debut a new service – 3D Photo Slideshows at this expo, hence the need for that learning.
We had to design and order banners & visiting cards. We had to keep visitor diaries and bill books. We had to plan for extra table & chairs. Besides, we bought a photography light box to take nice pictures of the bangles before converting them into a video.
That gave visibility to both her bangles and my video creation

Our New Photo Light Box for Product Photography
So here is our new Photo Light Box with LED Lights for Product Photography. We’ll mostly be using it to take photos of our fashion jewellery products, but we can also use it to photograph other small products that can fit in.
There are two main uses of taking photos using a light box setup. One, we can get product photos with a neat/uniform white or black background – without any distractions. Second, the LED light mounted on the box provides a focused light source close to the product and the white walls reflect light inside the product – so the product looks bright and well lit.
This Light Box setup is mobile – it’s easy to fold and take it around. The LED lights can be powered using any USB power source including power bank, laptop, etc. Two backdrops were included in this – white & black, but there are other products that come with more colour options.
The flexible plastic and the backdrop material are photography-friendly as they don’t seem like they’d catch dust or stains anytime soon. I just wish there was an opening on the top/sides for photographing from a different angle, and more LED lights that could focus light from different directions.
For now, as we are mostly going to take photos of our fashion jewellery products, this seems to be sufficient. I just wish it was a larger in size.
Anyway, here is the final image after adjustments and effects were added via a photo editing tool. Howzz itt??

Our First Step Towards Sustainable Living
I have written 46 posts in the Sustainable Living category of this blog. However, I realised I have not done anything concrete to shift towards a more sustainable lifestyle.
So we decided to buy this now

Kaala Movie Review
Kaala Movie Review:
*Plus: AC, Selfie with Thalaivar’s banner, Veg. Puff & Popcorn…
*Minus: Everything else.
Finally, a Rajni movie that makes more sound than Sivaji. And is more storyless than Sivaji. Am glad that at least one FB friend of mine mentioned about the absence of a credible storyline.
Is this the same director who directed Madras? Kabali was a hundred times better.
An agenda is not a movie.

New Theme. New Beginning.
As you may have noticed, I have dressed up my blog with a new free WordPress theme – Ashe Blog by WP-Royal. I love the default fonts and typography in this theme, that too against the bright white background. I also like the concept of sticky sidebars (2-column). That may have reduced the space available for the content, but you can always press Ctrl+ or – to increase or decrease font size on your browser.
You may not have noticed yet, but there is an Alt-Sidebar that appears when you click on the three small parallel lines on the top-bar (left-side from the words: Home). These three sidebars helped me unclutter and distribute all the widgets on my previous single sidebar, according to priority and better visibility. Hence, I feel, sidebars look much sleaker now.
I have stopped updating my other blogs – including the two technical blogs & chennai.buzz (which is no longer there) as I am focusing most of my time on my video creation service. So far I like the way I have transitioned, and have enjoyed the journey along with all the learning. As expected, the new journey is filled with challenges – new journeys always are.
Since this blog, Destination Infinity, is the only blog I will write from now on, the amount of content I produce/posts I write may increase in the near future. You don’t have to comment on all of them – feel free to comment on just the ones you liked.
I am now also trying the new Google Adsense Auto Ads on this blog, as a result of the knowledge gained at the recent Google for Tamil 2.0 conference. I’ll have to give it a long-enough trial period before I analyse the performance. That means, you may see some ads on this blog. I request my regular readers not to click on ads as they are meant for readers coming from the search engines.
I hope I will someday achieve my goal of becoming a huge influencer. But I guess the journey is equally rewarding as achieving the goal

Temple Atop a Small Hill in Chennai (Veera Anjaneyar, Kelambakkam)
If you are looking to visit a Temple over a small hill near Chennai, Sri Veera Anjaneyar Swamy Temple – Hanuman Temple with Ramar-Seethai idols, located at Pudhukuppam, close to Pudhukuppam bus stop, off Vandalur-Kelambakkam road (Google Maps link for location) is a good choice.
The above photo was taken at the foot of the hill which contains an arch with a large statue at either side, and a Pillayar (Ganapathy) Temple on the side. People who wish to walk can park their vehicles here and go, which is what we did. But there is another route for cars/bikes to go till the top.
It’s a pleasure to walk up this small mountain as there are a couple of hundred steps to cover (max) – that’s why we even decided to attempt it
