When I decided to select the books for October's Halloween series, I knew I wanted to include a book for middle grade readers. One might consider The Witch of Blackbird Pond an odd selection. After all, it doesn't exactly fit the mold of your typical Halloween fanfare.

The Indie Author Community Celebrates #PoweredbyIndie

When I learned Amazon was dedicating the entire month of October in celebration and recognition of indie authors, I didn’t need to imagine the cheer that reverberated throughout the indie community. The excited chatter from all the talented indie authors I’ve connected with over the years was palpable.
