Dr. Dick Interview, Pt. 2
My site has been a little wonky the last couple of days as Dreamhost changes up a lot of their servers, so I haven't been able to post this until now, but the second part of my podcast interview with Dr. Dick is now live.

Dr. Dick Interview
I was interviewed a few weeks back by Dr. Dick for his podcast "Sex Advice With An Edge." He does a series within his series called The Erotic Mind which focuses on sex in art, interviewing photographers, writers and visual artists. I'm up this week and next - I talk so much it had to be split in half. This weeks podcast, featuring part one of the interview, went up today and can be found here. Will post part two next Monday when it is uploaded.

New Story: Amanuensis
I posted back in February about a story I was working on for an upcoming anthology; I wound up not finishing that piece and doing something else entirely; the completed story is called "Amanuensis", and it's finally out in this book:
The book's called It's called "I Like It Like That", and is published by Arsenal Pulp Press. It is a collection of autobiographical erotic writing edited by Richard LaBonte and Lawrence Schimel, who asked an assortment of authors from the United States and Canada ...

I am still updating every week, though I've had to reduce the frequency of updates this fall; it's now going to be twice a week, Mondays and Thursdays, likely through until the end of...

Interview: The New Gay
"Post-gay" website The New Gay has an interview up with me that was one of the more interesting ones I've done. It was done by phone, which you can tell by how rambling some of my sentences are, but Paul Morton asked challenging, thoughtful questions. It's an excerpt - there was a lot more stuff that didn't make it in - but it gets to the heart of many of the issues surrounding my comic.

Out Magazine: Comic Book Queers
There's a short feature called "Comic Book Queers" in the latest (August) issue of OUT magazine that profiles the work of myself, Justin Hall, and Ariel Shrag. While none of my art is featured, there's one nice money quote in the paragraph the writer spends on my work:
"While certainly lustful, MacIsaac's comics dissect gay male identity through a sexually visceral yet earnestly self-conscious lens. Some would call his recent Shirtlifter series provocative social commentary, others might see it a
